Hacking Is tubehaxx dead? what's the better way to prevent fw update?

My dd-wrt router is dead so I need a alternative way to prevent system update. I read somewhere here that tubehaxx is not reliable anymore.

So what's the best way to prevent updates without blocking url with router?

u could try cc proxy and manage it urself. there's a tutorial about that somewhere in the wii u board.
