Hacking Issues with Pokemon White on TTDS/DSTT Flashcart

So, I recently decided to try bring my old TTDS flashcart into 2023, updating it to V1.18 using RetroGameFan's TTMenu. I was told to do this so that I would be able to play Pokemon White on it, which before had been hit with errcode=-4. However, while it doesn't receive this error anymore, whenever I try to boot up the game I am met instead with a white screen.

I know there are already posts about this issue, but all the ones I've seen are outdated by about 4 millenia. Any advice that works past the Triassic era is very much appreciated :]

Are you using a clean (unpatched) untrimmed rom?

And what do you mean by "V1.18"? Because the latest version of YSMenu by RGF is v7.06

I am using a clean rom, as far as I'm aware.

V1.18 is the version that is displayed on the bottom-right corner of my top screen.

Use YSMenu instead of TTMenu.

Trying it out, still boots to a white screen. I think it's an issue with the game itself :[

Edit: Nevermind, I got it to work!! :]

I would also like to suggest an alternative to YSmenu by using TWiLight Menu++ and launching games through nds-bootstrap.
You can also switch back to using YSmenu has a ROM launcher with Twilight.

Thank you for the suggestion, but I think I'll stick to what's working for me at the moment. Will keep this in mind tho! :]
