It's not, even if they matched regions, and even if they're both official carts.Didu50 said:Is trading between an Official cart of HG and BW on a Flashcart possible?
You don't need Wi-Fi... you just have to be able to use the internet(doesn't have to be wi-fi) to goto the pokemon global link website. There you play mini-games and stuff to befriend pokemon. Then click the wireless (not wi-fi) button on C-Gear(in ur pokemon game) to goto highlink and catch the pokemon.aimansss95 said:I want to ask a quick question.
Let's say i can't use wifi so i'll not be able to use the Dream World right?
then what will i miss without using the dream world? help is appreciated
edit = on and is it possible to use the Dream World to catch pokemon , grow berries without wifi?
Actually- you do need wifi or else you can't get your sync code or even if you do happen to get one- you can't go meet pokemon and play the mini games without your own pokemon being sent to sleep via wifi. Its only after you use the wifi that you use the wireless to get the pokemon you met in the dreamworld.ct_bolt said:You don't need Wi-Fi... you just have to be able to use the internet(doesn't have to be wi-fi) to goto the pokemon global link website. Yes it is. Get the ID code on your black- then send a pokemon to sleep. log into your account and look at your profile page. By your battle item avatar there are two buttons- click the one on the right. I the ID option is one of the middle buttons of the menu that pops up. The right page shows you your synced white save data on the right and on the left is the black code input. Type it in and press the button next to the input to enter it into the system. if its correct, your black save will show and you will be able to change between versions. Select the non checked one and click the button that pops up on the left to change. It WILL log you out. Log back in, and you will be on your other game. Go to the page where you input the game code to go back. The site will log you out EVERYTIME you want to change.ct_bolt said:how do you add another game to the account on global link?
i have an account i made with white... now i'm playing black, i'd like to link the two together.
anybody know how to do this? is it possible?
Oops... sorry I totally forgot about putting the pokemon to sleep and waking it up... thanks for that correction.saikkussu said:Actually- you do need wifi or else you can't get your sync code or even if you do happen to get one- you can't go meet pokemon and play the mini games without your own pokemon being sent to sleep via wifi. usually your local library or an international major chain fast food restaurant (like Mc Donald's) should have free and unlocked wifi. I think bookstores with coffee shops are free too now or just the coffee shops. Well at least where I live they are.
And other than random people giving you stuff after you battle them, like the Ranger Trainer, you don't have ANY access to berries in-game.
Though its not necessary- you will miss out on LOTS of stuff if you don't have wifi- at least 10x more than the previous generation. Check out serebii.net and read their pokemon black/white section and all the wifi features they have to offer and you'll get a good idea of what you're missing.

it made me think though- what if -because the location is highlink forest- that i can alter dream world moves into miju [if it has any]? probably not, though. miju is in pokeball when it hatches and dream pokemon are in dream balls.
I believe it is possible, because my brother was able to do it and he is using an R4Maverick-jin8 said:Is it even possible to do the dream world stuff if you have an R4? I can do the C Gear just fine, but connecting to Dream World always gets me an error.

So I've gotten the Dream World working, and have gotten a bunch of Pokémon from it. But the only problem is… how do I collect my items? I've transferred them over, but where in the High Link do you pick them up?ct_bolt said:I'm not sure if you have to but I entered the dream world on global link after entering the code. Then I did this:
Sync the game with global link, then Croagunk will be sent to high-link forest, there you can capture it... I just caught it with a pokeball.
I just had to send another pokémon to sleep and when I resynched, it was at High LinkIt's already a beatiful Toxicroak
