There's the possibility they'll try to have a voice actor do an imitation.

The English voice actor of Freeza from Dragon Ball Kai / Super died (RIP), his name was Chris Ayres and he did an amazing job so what was done was somewhat copy his Freeza voice for the current VA and go along with it.

Mills almost sounds identical to Ayres so I can't see anyone complaining about that. However, Super looks really shitty (though there are episodes that look better than that).

Oh, didn't know he died.. I noticed the change i think it was on one of the movies (Broly?), i knew it wasn't him. The new actor is not so bad imo. He might have worked on the dub of Super, but since i followed the Sub when it was still airing every week (ended in 2018), i missed the news about his death..
