Last movie I saw in the theater (remember those) was Avatar Way of the Water. It was "okay" but
the first one still knocks it out of the park.

Last movie I watched at home was the remastered version of John Carpenter's Starman.
A classic "sci-fi" movie.

Lifeforce (1985)

Would recommend to anyone who is interested in what I guess a "regular" high ranking nazi family would live like at that time (they would even go on to speak about how they dreamed to live like this when they were teenagers). When I mean regular I'm referring to how evil everything they're doing is yet albeit to them it's just regular. To them keeping and trying on the clothes from the nicer jews to them talking about killing them and improving upon killing them like it's a regular everyday conversation. Really scary and compelling if you're into this kind of movie, actors were chosen really well as they depicted retched humans very clearly. It goes on to show that a family member who wasn't too fond of Jews (but not on their level of wickedness) went to stay with them and had to leave abruptly because the evilness of Auschwitz was too much for her to handle. I'm going off randomly about the movie and don't wish to say anything else haha watch it

Never Say Never. You know MI6 british government spy for MI6 agency James Bond.
Being a fan of James Bond I am curious what you thought of the movie?
It's technically not part of the James Bond Movie set and is a "remake" of Thunderball.
I always enjoyed the original Thunderball verses Never Say Never Again. The director of this movie
is the director of my favorite Star Wars Film "The Empire Strikes Back".

Fun Fact: The motorcycle stunts were all done by Connery himself. Or so I was told.

Last two I watched:

Relic - 6/10
Slow burner "horror" that is actually about
a person suffering from dementia and how it also effects others in the family

The ending was quite satisfying but it felt like it took too long to get there.

Spaceman - 8/10
I firmly believe this is only getting poor reviews because it's not what people expect from Adam Sandler and it's far too complex for the average viewer. I'm sure the majority just don't "get it". Very emotional. Beautiful, depressing, and hopeful at the same time. The score is also gorgeous.

For instance Kim Basinger(same age as her-both born in the same year) peer like Kath Soucie.
Besides LeoTCK remembers still timeline of where Sean Connery didn’t portray role of agent 007 James Bond.
About 1,000 candidates applied to play Bond in the film, including one whose real name was James Bond.
Ian Fleming wanted his cousin, Christopher Lee, to play Agent 007. Others considered for the role of James Bond were: Stephen Boyd, Trevor Howard, Rex Harrison, Richard Johnson, William Franklyn, Stanley Baker, Barry Nelson, Ian Hendry and Richard Burton. Cary Grant was the first to be offered the role, while Steve Reeves, Richard Todd and Patrick McGoohan turned down the opportunity to play the role. The role was ultimately given to Sean Connery.
At the very beginning, the role of Sylvia Trench was offered to actress Lois Maxwell, who played Miss Moneypenny.
Actress Eunice Gayson was auditioned for the role of Moneypenny.
Guy Hamilton, Guy Green and Ken Hughes were the directors who were originally offered to direct the film. But everyone refused.
Max von Sydow refused to play Dr. No in favor of playing Jesus Christ in "The Greatest Story."
Ian Fleming suggested the role of Dr. No to Noel Coward. However, he refused, sending the author a telegram saying "Dr. No? No! No! No!". One reason was that he would have to wear metal arms.
Anita Ekberg was considered for the role of Honey Ryder.
Marguerite LeWars was originally cast as Miss Taro.
Julie Christie was close to playing Honey Ryder. However, producer Albert R. Broccoli decided that her breasts were too small for the role.
Bernard Lee landed the role of M just one day before filming began. According to Terence Young's memoirs, no other actor was able to come to the set at that time.
When Bond blows the talc off his briefcase to check that no one has tried to open it, he places the briefcase on the table with the perfume bottles on it. However, in the next shot the bottles turn into newspaper.
When Taro invites Bond to his house, he gives the address 239 Magenta Drive, but when Bond later orders a taxi, he gives the address 2171 Magenta Drive.
When Bond enters Moneypenny's office, he hangs his hat so that it faces the door. However, when he enters M's office, the hat is hanging backwards from before.
At the beginning of the film, Bond trades his Beretta for a Walther PPK. However, when he kills Dent, he uses a Browning 1910, and when he shoots the mechanical dragon on Dr. No's island, he uses a .45 Colt.
When Bond stabs one of Dr. No's guards, he doesn't bleed at all.
When the Chinese singer Lounge starts singing, his mouth does not move.
The car chase towards Mrs. Taro's house takes place on a gravel road, but the sound of screeching tires is heard, which is impossible.
John Kitzmiller is introduced in the end credits as "John Kitzmuller".
In the scene where Bond meets M, the director general of British intelligence says that he is the head of "MI7". However, his mouth utters the words 'MI6'. This is due to the later dubbing before the film's premiere. Interestingly, in an earlier scene, the radio operator described the name of the British intelligence service as 'MI6'.
In the Blu-ray release of the film, the framing was changed, revealing another error. In the scene in which 007 receives the Walther PPK, you can notice that his previous pistol (Beretta) is lying on a tray with documents, and Sean Connery, who plays this character, takes only the gun box with him and leaves, heading for the door. In the next shot, the Beretta and the box are in the actor's hands.
Filming took place in Kingston, Ocho Rios, Falmouth, Port Royal, Saint Ann's Bay, Montego Bay, Oracabessa, the Blue Mountains, the Roaring, Rolling and White Rivers (Jamaica), London and Iver Heath (England, Great Britain) and in Trinidad (Trinidad and Tobago).
Operation Thunderbolt was initially intended to be the first James Bond film. However, an argument with a co-author led to Dr. No became the first film about the adventures of agent 007.
Sean Connery has a terrible fear of spiders. The scene with the spider in the bed was initially shot with a glass window separating him and the spider. Since the scene didn't go very well, it was decided to use a body double for Bob Simmons.
When the film was released in cinemas in Italy, the Vatican issued a special statement expressing its disapproval of the film's immoral tone.
The scene in which Honey Ryder is waiting for Bond in his room with a bottle of champagne was deleted from the film.
In Japan, posters were initially printed with the title of the film "We Don't Want the Doctor" because the title "Doctor No" was misunderstood. The error was corrected at the last minute.
The film was shot from January 16 to March 30, 1962.
As far as I remember as far as I know that initially it was originally planned that after release of Casino Royale or Quantum of Solace I think it was after Casino Royale before Quantum of Solace Daniel Craig signed contract for 8 movies about agent 007 James Bond movies.
He portrayed a role of James Bond in since Casino Royale,Quantum of Solace,Skyfall,Spectre,No Time To Die. But I don’t remember the name of the website. Maybe there’s something in 007 James Bond related wikia. So this means anyway that those were five movies in which Daniel Craig portrayed role of James Bond.

First of all that is very informative post. However...
I think he wanted your opinion on Never say Never Again...instead you gave all kind of interesting trivia on Dr. No and stuff.

But also please don't say I remember a timeline where Sean Connery wasn't James Bond. You confused things. I told you that I remember that there was a film where James Bond gets nearly cut in half by a buzzsaw. Then I saw goldfinger and there was a laser and I thought oh they recycled this but added laser instead for this film. But...the buzzsaw was in the novel adaptation of Goldfinger. And he was indeed on a wooden table or so. But I remember it being Sean Connery but I thought the scene was in Dr. No but NO. It wasn't. I saw that version of James Bond while being in what was considered a haunted house, it was once a temporary german prison during world war II. The prisoners were locked up in the cellars. It was also where I had that alien abduction like experience.

I never read James Bond novels and only got to know this bit later. I considered that what I might have seen is that documentary film which had a reconstruction of the novel scene in, but its considered lost media and the photo showed a different kind of room than I remember.
https://lostmediawiki.com/Omnibus:_The_British_Hero_(lost_television_documentary;_1973)

But I can't find any record it was broadcast in the czech republic.

Look this was back in 1995, I was a little kid, there was no wikipedia or internet for me. ..I couldn't have known there's just no way.

In Spectre bondaged James Bond/Agent 007 got bondaged and tortures techniques were like dentistic machines. Anyway was I supposed to not about this?

I guess in that timeline actor who portrayed Angus McGyver wasn’t in original Stargate, but it was maybe Sean Connery instead.
Besides that bondaged male brunette reminds me of little bit younger George Lazenby.

Yea the images no longer load if you aren't logged in that's sad really. But what does it have to do with James Bond?

I don't remember much but I think there might have been few differences in the stargate movie as well though there are few different versions of the film like the director cut so this is not something as significant. Also as far as I know he was potrayed by Kurt Russel in all versions of the film. Please stop making stuff up on the spot you aren't helping!

wait are you talking about that oldunreal thread? How can you see the images if you aren't logged in? Did you manage to bypass your ban yet again? I still dunno what you mean, can you show me in a cropped image who reminds you of dicaprio and who is supposed to be the bondaged guy? Either way that Bond post with the trivia was really good, that's something you do really well on itself. If all your posts were more like that, that would be great.

Mental Illness. I mean I don't see the resemblance but yea why did you even link to that oldunreal thread? it didn't have this image but yea that's the only surviving image of that omnibus documentary. THE PROBLEM IS THAT'S NOT WHAT I SAW BACK THEN. And I don't think czech tv had that documentary.

I just watched Spaceman with Adam Sandler in it, and it was fucking amazing for a drama. The visuals were incredible, and I was never bored. It made me cry too, it was so damn good.

Fantastic movie. I made some brief comments about it on the last page, before it turned into the "Last Seen James Bond Movie" thread.

Spaceman - 8/10

@Sicklyboy I am wanting to fully change the game and bend it to my will lol. I would like to eventually have the ability to add more characters, enemies, even have a completely different story if i wanted. I already have the ability to change the tilemaps in the US version, so I can basically make my own map and warp to it in game - so I'm pretty far into it!

I really would like to make a hack that I would enjoy playing, and maybe other people would too. swapping to the EU version would also mean my US friends could not legally play it

I am definitely considering porting over some of the EU features without using the actual ROM itself, tbh that would probably be the best way to go about it... but i'm sad that the voice acting is so.... not good on the US version. May not be a way around that though
