Limited edition Pokemon Scarlet and Violet themed Switch OLED announced

As is tradition with the launch of a huge new Pokemon game, so too is there a limited edition console release to go alongside it. Celebrating the release of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet is the new Nintendo Switch OLED system themed around the games. It comes with one red and one purple Joy-Con, both emblazoned with emblems from the games on the bottom, while the back of the Switch OLED tablet is massively decked out in different designs using the same color pattern. Topping it all off is a white console dock that has the two legendary boxart Pokemon of Scarlet and Violet. The limited edition Switch OLED will launch two weeks in advance of the games' launch, on November 4th, for $359.99--$10 more than the standard MSRP, with the games sold separately.

WOW so cool.
Edit: Splatoon 3 one is better for me.

That dock looks sexy. But it's the part you hardly ever look at, I wish the console had that design on it. The console's just a little bit too Splatoon for my liking. I haven't seen a single limited edition yet where the console looks cool enough for me to consider getting a second Switch. I was all over the X/Y limited edition 3DS XL, and the 3DS had some other really cool limited edition designs too, the Switch has been a bit disappointing for me on that front. They seem to put more effort into the dock than the console itself. I hardly even use the dock.
I might've been all over the Sword/Shield limited edition console, if it wasn't gray (personal preference) and it wasn't a Switch Lite. That's probably the coolest limited edition version of the Switch that I've seen.

The Monster Hunter Rise one was pretty good. To bad they didn't make a Sunbreak console - just the controller.

I have the Pikachu New 3DS XL and any Switch edition pales in comparison to that. The Switch special designs are all so incredibly lame or uninspired, and this one (except for the dock) takes the cake. Not just that the games likely will suck, no the special edition console feels more like a regular edition + stickers planted on it for an additional charge, which in all honesty I can make a better design and apply it myself for a fracture of the cost, not even adding to the fact they don't include the game. Nintendo: 🤮
