Little Details
This is a old way of loading your wii u games from the sd slot.
This is also useful if you don't have a usb Hdd.
That being said it's also region free.
Good Gaming and keep it clean.

Needful Things
  • A Wii-u.
  • A softmoded wii-u, if not go HERE.
  • 32GB or better sandisk recommended sd card class 10.
  • Make sure your sd card is formatted to fat32 32 cluster size.
  • Know how to pay attention.

Loadliine
  • First download Loadiinegx2
  • Now extract it to your memory card.
  • It will look like this: wii-u\apps\loadiine\loadiine Gx2.elf

Preparation
  • You will have to make two other folders.
  • The folders must be in the wiiu folder.
  • The first folder is named games.
  • The second folder is named saves.
  • IT should look like this Sd:\wiiu\games and Sd:\wiiu\saves

Installing MSVCR120.dll
  • First download the DLL.
  • Download the one for your system.
  • Extract it , then cut or copy it.
  • Now go to C: drive , system 32 and paste it in the folder.
  • You are done.
  • Now you should be able to load the loadiine option in wii-u usbloader.:)
  • If this didn't work, follow the Installing C++ Redistributable part.

Installing C++ Redistributable
  • Go HERE to download.
  • Download the one for your system.
  • Then run the program and let it install.
  • You are done.
  • Now you should be able to load the loadiine option in wii-u usbloader.:)

  • Now download the Wii-u Usb Helper.
  • Choose a game to download.
  • When the games finish downloading, then click on the game in wiiu usb helper and then click on it with right side of the mouse key.
  • Now Go down to Pack/Unpack(Loadiine/CIA) and select it.
  • Now make a path to your Desktop and have it go to a folder named Games. ( Yes!, you will have to make a new folder on your desktop and name it games....when asked to.)
  • Copy the game over to your SD card, It should look like this...SD:\wiiu\games\Cybernator(JBNE).
  • Now you're done.:)

I know you are probably going to get a lot of comments about how useless loadiine is to people nowadays so I hope you are prepared lol. One thing I would say though is that you are wrong about the sd cluster size being 32kb many games load better using 64kb cluster size. I have witnessed this myself on several games like Mario 3d World when the sd card was 32kb took 7 mins to load to the title screen then another 3 mins to load to the world map then each level took about 50 secs to load. With the same sd card set to 64 kb the title screen took about a minute to load the world map was about 10 seconds and each level was about 5 seconds. Had similar results with a number of other games aswell.

I never said it could only be 32cluster size, I put that in there cause that's what works for me and I have an sdxc 64gb class ten card .

This guide....as said on top is old and for those that don't have a usb hdd.

I know you are really trying to help. but, aren't USB Thumbs cheaper than SD nowdays?
Not everybody has a thumb drive, while y'all focus on that others might find this useful, at least I hope.
I pretty much made this guide for those that only have a sd card.
Please keep that in mind.

Although I dont like to load games into SD Cards, I strongly disagree in letting this homebrew neglected as outdated.

  • It is the easiest way to load out of region games
  • It is the most secure way to load any game because it doesnt involve installing.
  • It easily circumvents the 300 ticket limit on the console. I have many DLC and downloaded games legally bought and when I dumped my tickets, it was reaching 100 tickets and I even dont have all the games I want. I dont know if only downloaded games and addons count for tickets or if they are like the PS4, which every data for apps and games has its own ticket.
  • It adds another option to expand memory that Nintendo never used.
I really expect it to evolve, but Im not too positive.
