Gaming Luigi is dominating in Dr. Mario: Miracle Cure

So I decided to download Dr Mario: Miracle Cure just to give it a go since I loved the original Dr. Mario, but boy oh boy is it stressful. The regular mode is pretty easy but when it comes to me VS. Luigi (the CPU) he beats my ass almost every single time, I mean his response time is unreal.

Is there an update or something to make the game more enjoyable and less stressful?

LOL I know right? I still didn't beat Dr. Deathstare Lugi. I'm glad it's not only me tho as I was feeling pretty awful because I suck at that game.
