Hacking M3 Game Manager Crashing.

Hi guys.

I've been using an M3 SD/Lite for several years without any problems, but I've just encountered one to which there does not seem to be an apparent solution. When trying to open the saver menu, the game manager crashes. This has never happened before, and I have altered nothing in the program or my SD card that would make it behave differently. At this point, I've tried installing older versions of the game manager, as well as reformatting my SD card, but the program still crashes every time. This is obviously a problem, since the M3 Game Manager is the only program I know of that can convert .dat files to .sav files.

Any and all help would be deeply appreciated.

it could be that you installed something that has a kind of conflict with it. Don't you remember the last software you installed/updated?

I was using M3 Game Manager v36, and my card is using the most recent firmware. Literally, the program was working fine one day, then stopped working the next. I've tried looking through Google to see if anyone else is encountering this problem, and it looks like there are a couple people who have reported encountering the same error.

Also, thanks for the link, but that only works with NDS .sav files, not GBA.

I meant that you could have installed something not related on your PC and it might have caused this problem. What OS are you using?

And that link should work with GBA files, because I already tried it. I don't have a M3, but I'm pretty sure you can convert choosing the "M3 (.dat)" option there. Give it a chance.

I've tried using that exact same converter in the past with no luck, but I'll give it another go for the hell of it, I guess. Thanks for your assistance.

I thought I would resurrect this thread rather than starting a new one.

I have the same problem as the OP. My M3 Manager was working one day and then the next it started randomly crashing. I also have a problem in that when I copy games over and it's looks successful the games rarely load on my GBA. For example, I copy over F-Zero MV using the M3 Manager and it all seems to go well. But when I boot the cart up in any of my GBA's or Gameboy Player the game only loads once in a while. Most of the time the game sticks just after the title screen. Sometimes the 'Game' menu on the M3 even disappears from the cart until I take the card out, reseat it and then reboot...

Any ideas? Did the OP solve the issue??
