I own a Mac SE with a failed HD and an 800K floppy disk. The HD used to work but it's borked now. Is there some type of USB 800K floppy reader? I have TransMac, so I would be able to read/write them. Thanks.

I had no idea where to put this, so I put it here.

AFAIK, there aren't any kind of modern floppy drives around that will read 800k floppies.

I have heard you can take some older models and modify their firmware to read/write them, but I've no idea how and haven't heard much about it.

Your best bet, nowadays, is finding another older Mac SE to use. Otherwise, you're sort of screwed.
