Creating a Splash Screen
  1. Images should be 400x240 for the top screen or 320x240 for the bottom. There's a ~50px gap between the top and bottom screens.
  2. Convert images using this site
  3. Check "rotate 90°"
  4. Do not check "preserve transparency"
  5. Download the .bin file
  6. Rename the .bin file to "splash.bin" for top or "splashbottom.bin" for bottom
  7. Use 7zip or WinRar to compress the .bin file into a .zip archive
  8. Post a preview of the image and attach the .zip file to your post (.zip is preferred, but .rar works too)
*If experiencing a distorted splash screen, open your original image in an editor and re-export it as a .png (or .jpg) file
Don't forget to attach corresponding splash.bin in .zip format
*You can convert .bin files to .png using this

Be sure to post a preview of your image:

and how does it work? If you don't mind me asking, I don't have a N3DS nor use reinand but I can surely make some splash screens for the sake of it =)

You create an image that's 400x240, save it as a PNG (or JPG/BMP I guess) and then use that site to convert it into a .bin file. Make sure "Rotate 90 degrees" is checked, and check the transparency box if you're using a PNG with transparency. Either way though, the rotation is mandatory. Then zip it up and attach it here.

Have a 800x240 image and use the website to convert it to a bin and call it splash.bin

It has to be 400x240, because Reinand doesn't use 3D for the splash screen.

Convert images using this site.
Post your custom splash screens below, preferably using this format to keep things organized:

Preview:

Don't forget to attach corresponding splash.bin in .zip format

Also, this is my first thread so if I do anything wrong on gbatemp, just tell me.
Oh man I love that 3Dshack design. I'll be looking into making one that matches my menuhax splash screen soon :)

Can anyone accept request? I sucks at designing so can't do it myself.

Would like a simple splash screen with ReiNAND CFW and by Reisyukaku text. Something like this https://gbatemp.net/threads/menuhax-2-0-custom-main-screen-images.401528/page-19#post-5981426
Maybe PM @Louch 雪 Daishiteru? He's the one who made the original image, and who knows, maybe he's willing to help out?

I accept the request, i can easily modify the menuhax splash screen and add the L and R labels if you want.

I got the Google Pixel Pro buds, they're good enough for when I need portable audio. And some really cheap IEMs that Dankpods recommends, I think the KZ ZSN Pro

I'd stick with cheapo Chinese $10 ones quality is actually becoming on pair with name brand since name Brand usually quads the price up anyway loose one bud that's another $200

My Pixel Pro buds shit the bed a month or two ago. My wireless charger (which they do support Qi charging) absolutely COOKED them. Caused some problem that caused the case to heat up to 180F+
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
They were like 9 months out of warranty but I hit up Google support anyway and told them how hot they were getting and they replaced them with new ones because they wanted these for failure analysis lol
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
    lol wireless charging
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
Yeah that's why I can't bring myself to even spend $100 on wireless earbuds
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I think it's a cool idea but damn
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
Apparently the case has a problem with >15W wireless chargers. Google design fault, that one.
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
I could live with wireless charging if the damn standard case doesn't block connection

@Xdqwerty, power through a coil of wire causes an electromagnetic field to be generated. Another coil of wire can be set up to harness the power from that electromagnetic field and turn it into usable energy for charging a device
