I have no idea about the emoji thing, but I've had no problems getting Magisk 13.0 to pass SafetyNet checks. Just go to Magisk's settings and turn on Magisk Hide. I haven't had to do anything else to get apps that have SafetyNet checks working properly.

What modules do you have installed?

No modules, no special settings, just enabled Magisk Hide. Granted, I'm still on Marshmallow with a much more limited custom ROM and a non-Nexus device - I can't guarantee things will work the same with newer versions of Android. Still, my Fire Emblem: Heroes profile hasn't nuked itself and the SafetyNet check app I have still returns success whenever I try it.

Looking at the Magisk changelog, I'm still a few builds behind the current one, but from the build you're using it looks like you should be able to use modules and still pass SafetyNet.

It's Google that's messing about. What you might need is a custom kernel like Franco. I had to install it to bypass the latest SafetyNet with the same Beta you run.

Yeah, using a couple modules.

Who is Franco?

Eventhough the New 3DS XL is more powerful, I still feel like the DS Lite was a more polished system. It's a real shame that it never got an XL variant keeping the GBA slot. You'd have to go on AliExpress and buy an ML shell to give a DS phat the unofficial "DS Lite" treatment, and that's the best we'll ever get I'm afraid.

The phat model had amazingly loud speakers tho.

@Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.

They probably said "Hey, why not we combine the two together and make a 'new' DS to sell".
  • Veho @ Veho:
It's a DS Lite in a slightly bigger DS Lite shell.

    It's not a Nintendo / iQue official product, it's a 3rd party custom.

Nothing special about it other than it's more comfortable than the Lite
    for people with beefy hands.
