Does anyone happen to have a MAME 0.37b5/MAME 2000 merged CMP dat or xml list with all the proper description names? There is no way to export a proper list from such an old version from what I have seen and I haven't been able to find a list that isn't at least halfway filled with the ROM set names for descriptions and altering by hand would be pretty damn tedious and annoying.

Thanks for the link. I'm not sure if I have come across this yet or not since it has been a while and I was grabbing many different days where I could find them. Will need to convert it to XML and take a look but it is probably a moot point as I made a program that takes a normal names list and injects the descriptions into matching names in the XML list. I've been needing to make a ready to go must-have set for a long time.

There was a comparison of the number of Ibuprofen poisonings before and after they limited the maximum dosage per box or per pill (i'll look that up). No limit on the number of boxes you can still buy as many as you want, so people argued it was pointless.

But the number of (accidental) poisonings dropped because drinking an entire package of ibuprofen pills went from "I need a new liver" to "I need a new box of Ibuprofen".

Here we have ketoprofen that used to be prescription-only because of the risk of toxic dosages, but then they halved the dose per pill and sell them in bottles of six pills apiece instead of twenty and it doesn't need a prescription any more. Yes you can buy more than one bottle but people simply don't.
