MechaPwn question

If I use MechaPwn to change a "PAL SCPH-50003" to USA region, will it output video mode with PS1 games to NTSC 60hz, or will it remain PAL 50hz?

ok, so I tried it anyway, and the answer is "no", it still output PAL on the system menu with the region changed. I'll have to get a USA PS1 game and test it (suspect it either won't run, or will run in 50 fucking hertz

well with the PS2 games, it should be fine. it will run 50hz pal in system menu, but when the game runs, it will probably run NTSC 60hz with USA game (I have tested it with ESR patched DVD-R and MX4SIO)

it's jus the PS1 games that seem only to want to run 50hz
