Microsoft adds yet another perk to Game Pass Ultimate: a 30-day trial to Disney+

It may not be the biggest reason to grab Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, but Microsoft has added yet another perk for those who subscribe to the service. Starting today, anyone who is signed up for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate will be able to redeem a free 30-day trial to the Disney+ streaming service. Usually retailing for $6.99, Disney+ currently doesn't offer free trials in any form, so this deal stands out. As with most trials, you can cancel anytime prior to the renewal if you don't want to keep the subscription. If that's not enough for you, don't forget that EA Play games are also coming to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate for no extra charge, tomorrow, November 10th.

Meh, don't really care for the month of Disney plus. I converted most of my Disney DVDs to MPEG4 anyway, and I gotta say, Disney isn't really producing anything worthwhile for me. Marvel movies get a little tiring after a while. I don't like Star Wars, so no Mandalorian for me. Their live action films are often worse than their animated counterparts. And the only 3D-animated films that really do it for me are Toy Story 1 and 2, and the first Wreck-it Ralph.

What can I say? I'm picky when it comes to movies. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Wonder if Disney+ is struggling a bit. One can only hope.
No, I doubt it. Disney just has to push hard for new customer. As cinemas are currently dead, their Disney Studios just earn few 100 Million instead of several billion US Dollar. And when I checked the numbers for Disney to reach numbers comparing to 2019 box office numbers, they would need at least 180 Million subscriber world wide, thats more as Netflix has at the moment.

Plus they’ve lost the revenue from the theme parks, which has previously helped them when the film side was struggling.
