I'm late, but I used Dimok's fork compiled for sysNAND (with the make cfw command)

Working for you with Breath of the Wild specifically?

Thanks. I tested with both forks and works great. But only patching with IPS file. I tried to add the FSHax code in IOSUHax but it ddn't works for me.

wait... so this lets homebrew access the whole wii u filesystem? i saw that it helps with sdcaffiine, i cant even find what sdcaffiine does. cuz i forgot...

anyway, if it does allow full file access, then couldnt we get a coldboot exploit?

i feel like im dumb and dont understand what this does, but thats what the description says...

No, because of sign checks.

But there's Haxchi + coldboothax.

Basically, if you want code execution on boot, make an exploit for an app (Haxchi is an exploit for the DS emulator), then apply coldboothax to it.

FSHax won't help you exploiting the system.

Homebrew could already get access to paths by using different nodes. FSHax allows games to access paths that they would otherwise not be able to. For example, let's say a legit copy of Mario Kart can't use the SD, so if SDCaffiine (which loads mods from SD instead of the original path) steps in and tries to tell Mario Kart to read the file from SD instead of it's own directory, Mario Kart can't read the file, and it crashes. With FSHax, SDCaffiine redirects the path and Mario Kart reads the file.

So it's helpful in that regard, but it doesn't get us any closer to changing the boot process.
