i have often wondered this toohow do you become a mod or a admin ???ÂÂ
I see no reason for a sticky. I find it pretty obvious that to be a staff member that is entrusted with some power over the board, they must first prove themselves and set a good example, which takes time.if it would be sticky or something it will help
other members too ( i think )
if you have to ask how, then chances are, your never gonna be...how do you become a mod or a admin ???ÂÂ
that is not true.....well it wasnt when there as only one bot there...tekken i tihnk....it's the same way you get ops/@ on irc...you won't ever get it by asking...
one word for these types of pm's/msg's and that is lame.hello there, i'm (insert nickname here) and i've been around for (insert how many months here) months. i think i would be an excellent (insert op/mod/supervisor/wtf here) because im always around willing to help. get back to me as soon as possible please. thanks.it's the same way you get ops/@ on irc...you won't ever get it by asking...

i didnt literally mean 'the way you get ops' as in, how one would /msg a bot to request ops.
i meant it, like, how you get it, as in, your new...you want ops..how?? (btw, tekken wasn't the bot, that was the nick of the bots owner. falcon2 was the bot's name.)
same way on the forum, new people see admin/supervisor/wtf and go damn, i want that...and they make topics that ask.
'deerrrr, how do i get to be admin/supervisor/mod (god in their eyes, they want teh power see).'
here's a simple example for any idiot to use to pm/msg a mod/supervisor/irc op/wtf to get what they want
random idiot @ getting what they want
