need advice on how to fix this

so my ps3 is not outputting anything. i feel like my hdi port is busted. is there any way to format or delete anything in my ps3 since i remember i put in some sensitive material on there and i think i may just sell my ps3

Simply remove your storage drive. Everything should be there. If the drive isn't broken you can just use it again for another device or pc after formatting
