Need help installing CFW on my friend fat ps3.

I can use some help nstalling CFW on my friend fat ps3. I was following this guide.



I installed the official 4.88 firmware.

When i go to the playstation 3 toolset, I keep on getting ps3 exploitation framework download failed. I did push yes when it say run the plugin. I think the exploition worked once or twice but it fail more often then not.

• PS3 Browser Javascript enabled
• PS3 Browser Cookies enabled
• PS3 Firmware: 4.80/4.81/4.82/4.83/4.84/4.85/4.86/4.87/4.88
• PS3 Firmware Type: OFW/HFW/MFW/CFW
• PS3 Firmware mode: CEX/DEX
• PS3 System Time accurately set

Try this - Make sure your PS3 system clock date/time is synched to the internet, correct time zone and daylight savings or not. You can find that option in the PS3 menus where the date and time is set.
