A new trailer has aired today for, Kingdom: The Blood, the video game based on the Netflix miniseries IP “Kingdom”. The new footage showcases the in-game graphics as well as the action-focused gameplay. In addition to the trailer shared below, another trailer was released that features commentary from the developer Action Square.

Staying true to the original series, Kingdom: The Blood recreates characters, zombies, and vicious action from the show in high-quality 3D graphics. A deep respect and faithful observance of Korean aesthetics and culture is shown in every detail. Action Square’s highly skilled graphics team carefully implemented finer details such as traditional Korean martial arts movements and the fluttering of costumes to preserve the original form of the deadly combat style. The RPG’s character progression also adds extra challenge and depth to the experience.

Features of Kingdom: The Blood include:
  • A story mode that follows the popular Korean drama,
  • A conquest mode that offers five-minute battles,
  • A multiplayer boss mode,
  • PVP combat
Kingdom: The Blood is currently under development for PC and mobile as a cross-platform release.

Not impressed, doesn't look like it would be good, even if it were a simple mobile game. Graphics are not too good and gameplay looks terrible, very basic and bland. Hopefully the game has much more depth.

I like the direction they're taking w/ this game, but while watching this trailer, the panning of the camera seemed out of sync. I presume that is due to this game still being in early development.
