from what you quoted I don't see what we could wait, his work only work as a plugin, I hardly see how they can add it to Luma without having some crash dump hell (like since they implented rosalina)
Of course it's a plugin for NTR. I do a educated guess there will be an option in BootNTR to make it globally active or not.

I don't excatly remember, but iirc he said it wasn't possible to put it in the "home" folder.
@Nanquitas is that correct ?
Also there is that reboot issue where you need to reboot your 3DS when you want to use it with an other game

I wish I was wrong tho

This isn't from Gateway. This is supposed to be the successor to the Sky3DS.

It is from GW and a merger of Sky. GaryOPA has more or less confirmed it by reading his latest post at Maxconsole.

There is a lot of contradiction, if you read the thread and posts by him from the past few months regarding GWs update and this new announcement.

Tbh, I don't beleive a word from that guy anyway but it does makes sense when you look at at all the info surrounding it all.

nah it's not like that anymore, it's simply drag&drop your .3ds in your micro sd, for Sky3DS+
If that's the case, I stand corrected then. Last time I checked it was a pita to get games on that thing as you basically had to reprogram it for every single game, like an FPGA.

if only there was a way to use a menu like that on a CFW (luma dev are not ok apparently) without a plugin, I would put my Gateway in a trash.
They probably don't implement it because of moral reasons, like Roxas refusing to implement signature patches in rxTools, the DeSmuME dev refusing to implement greater native resolution on the emulator, NTR CFW's dev quitting the project because he refused to open source it, among other things. Fortunately, Luma3DS is open source so anyone with the right skills can implement the cheats menu in Rosalina.

Desmune :nothing to do with morals desmune dev has his head up so far his ass is not even funny , from the wifi mess removing it from the emulator his dedication against this also extends to any other contributer in the project even attempting working on these features as he'll then sabotage, break and erase their code and try to scare them off the project
Refusing to fix bugs for games he dislikes, arrogance and generally being an ass to everyone

NTR : looks like the guy wanted to be exclusive in the hacking scene and keeping things hiden from everyone but thats my personal take on it

there is nothing to reprogramm, you can't really be sure of something that you don't own, are you one of those guys that always want to be right ?

It's possible to put it in sd:/plugin/game/ to make it load for every game though.

I'm pretty sure you had to use dedicated partitions on your SD and press a button to switch games on that flashcart. I don't know if they changed that on later revisions, but that was the case back in the day.

no now there is no need to use a software to create a partition and to inject games, it support .3ds on exfat.
not trying to defend the card but that how it work.

Yeah, until Ninty shuts down their 3ds servers and since freeshop replaced pretty much everything else there isn't any good way to download a "good" cia of your games anymore. Sure, you can technically dump it with godmode9 but it is a royal pain in the butt (you have to go into fbi, write down or memorize the title id, reboot into gm9, then dump the game, repeating the process for each title) and I doubt it produces a "good cia".
Dude, you can still buy games off the bloody Wii Shop. Even if they shut down the 3DS eShop is a couple decades, it's trivial to turn a 3DS into a CIA. This isn't a good argument.

Or you could use the title search feature to list the names of the games, select as many as you want with L and then dump them all at once.

    If your internet speeds are fast enough. Streaming 4k takes alot. I used to only have 20mb sec, and 4k struggled. Now I have 300mb sec and 4k plays fine.

    Did you feed the hamster in your internet router? It prob died and is running slow now.

    I think Game streaming should work like this.... Local Hardware able the run the game fine, game engine and common assets stored locally, all FMV and music and textures could be streaming

    Or free government supplied high speed internet be nice also. Like Obama care. Xdqwerty that's cool, its time consuming but rewarding once done or playable, to see what you've made from scratch. Animations take forever, but worth it.

    @BigOnYa,
    and the visual aspect of the game is quite crude (the sprite that looks best is that of the protagonist just because he is a stickman with sunglasses)

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
    There is a bullets behaviour you assign to your character, that makes the code easier, under "behaviours"
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
    i meant that when the character is pointing to the right, the bullets spawn where they should, but when he is on the right, they move to the right but the spawn point is incorrect
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
    Itch.io has lots of free assets also. Under the bullets behavior tab, there is a "rotate bullets" option, can try that. Or in the code can try
    - fire bullet Player.X(PlayerDirection)

    That's cool tho, I'm proud of you going back to it, not giving up. It is difficult at first to learn, but fun once you get the hang of it. I think I've watched every tutorial video there is, but I still struggle sometimes to get stuff to work right. But gotta keep trying dif things, and eventually you will get it right.
