I'd still like to know why the save file is wrong. You're using TWiLight Menu++, which is the same I'm using, there's no reason for the save to be created differently.Looks like I'll never get to one-up that casino NPC. Meh.

It does work, and then if I save over your save and try to import it to desmume it's corrupted. The only difference between my working save and these saves after trimming is the footer, I think it's failing to encrypt correctly? Or a checksum, rather. If you use my save in place of yours in Twilight Menu++, will it work? I'm just curious.
Yeah. I wouldn't even know where to begin with fixing this issue. Thank god it's not something actually important. I really appreciate your help though. It does work, and then if I save over your save and try to import it to desmume it's corrupted. What the hell, it worked now. I erased my desmume save completely, created a new game in desmume until I was able to save, then trimmed your save to 64KB and imported it with default settings, and it worked, it's 64KB now. I would recommend that even if you don't use it with desmume you replace your save file with this one, since it's the correct size.Yeah. I wouldn't even know where to begin with fixing this issue. Thank you so much. Now I can finally show that NPC who's boss. What the hell, it worked now. It worked, thank you.If you have a little bit of OCD about the spell listings and you are using a flashcart, do the following:
1. Open the ENG version and save your game.
2. Open Flashcard in PC and rename the SAV file to the JPN version filename.
3. Open JPN version and load the save game. Draw the spell. Save the game.
4. Open Flashcard in PC and rename the SAV back to the ENG version filename.
5. Open the ENG version and load the save game. Check and see the spell is still there.
6. Rest easy, that you have the spell listed (Even though it isn't required)
The answer is 3. I forgot to check the number page and thought it was Y for a bit.
yeah I don't know what's up with thatThe rabbit guy in the dream world won't accept my answer for the leaf riddle.
This has been discussed here before. It's a bug. The game misinterprets the 0 for an O or something like that.yeah I don't know what's up with that
