Today was a pretty unique today, as I seldom get injured, ever.

As nobody here knows, I've been working with my father for the summer in construction.
So he told me to go cut a few metal rods to suspend pipes to the ceiling.
So I did that.
Right after I finished sawing the rod in half, my hand slipped, and I cut the skin open on my right index finger.
To the bone.
It wasn't painful.
But it bled a lot.
So now I have a finger that's opened up, and I don't know how long it'll take for it to mend itself back together.

But it reminded me of a long time ago when I grew a sunflower in a small pot.
It was about a half a metre tall, and the pot go knocked over.
The stem broke.
My heart was broken.
That was the only plant I ever cared about.
But I wanted it to LIVE!
I got a small splint, put it in the soil and taped the sunflower to it.

After a few weeks I found the sunflower had mended its stem back together, and that it could once again stand up again by itself!
Triumph!!!

Anyway, yeah, I got a solder burn today as well, but that's not interesting.

The cut's no longer than a cm. But I'm gonna go see a doctor in 2 days anyway.
I sterilized it bandaid'd it, and put duct tape over it to apply more pressure.

Aww the sunflower story was the best part.
It's so cute in its own nature-y way.
