'Patapon 2 Remastered' comes to PS4 this week

Initially released on the PSP in 2008, PS4 owners will be able to enjoy a remastered version of Patapon 2 and no later than this week! Patapon 2 Remastered is a full 4K remaster of the original rhythm-based title, and comes along with "new enhancements taking full advantage of the PS4 and PS4 Pro".

Cut off from their Zigoton compatriots after a Kraken attacks their ship, the Patapon tribe find themselves ship-wrecked on a strange new land. As their deity, it’s your job to lead the Patapon army using a variety of rhythmic drum commands as they encounter brand new enemies, allies and a host of new bosses as they continue their search for their promised land, Earthend. Combine the various chains of drumbeats to address each unique level, leading the Patapons to victory over the enemy forces.

Take part in more than 30 missions including hunting, escort, and boss battles, and explore numerous vivid environments along the way. Patapon 2 Remastered delivers a strong element of strategy by requiring players to properly customize and build up the Patapon army, arm each soldier with weapons and armor, and position them correctly for battle.

Patapon 2 Remastered will be available exclusively on the PlayStation Store this January 30th for $14.99 USD.

If they're willing to port a PSP game, why not a Vita game.. specifically P4Golden

Feel like that's up to ATLUS to decide seeing as the Patapon series is developed by an entirely different studio. That said, I'd love to see P3 and 4 remastered on current/next-gen hardware too!

I know I know, i meant from a technical point of view'
I had hoped the success of P5 would have prompted a port but guess not! Maybe if P5Royal does well...
