Good evening,

I would like to convert a few PKG to ISO or folder format to play them using ps3net server. Mostly, I'm just curious about the process. I've come across this video on the Internet and I tried to follow the steps but it didn't work. The video involved a program called PSN Liberator and dumping your edat.dat file and IDPS. Have anyone here tried to accomplish this?

Thanks in advance.

I've just tried Goat Simulator and Metal Slug 3 and neither starts. I'm on Hen btw. I guess I would stick to regular isos.

I don't use it, since there's no guarantees the game will work. same with ripping other languages. there's no guarantee the game will work all the way through with that one either. you need the rap and klicense. there's a klicense database with psn liberator as well as ps3 tools. are you trying to make an iso into a package? I don't know about that, but the other way around is doable with psn liberator. I think they even have an option to create an iso from your build.

I tried Psn liberator too. You have to provide your ACT.DAT and IDPS and then place the pkg and rap file in their respective folder. Everything fine until then but once you select convert, the program crashes. I checked the logs files and all of then are blanks. Then, I found a tutorial to do it manually but no luck either.

your issue is likely pc related if it crashes.

You're probably right, alas, I can't afford a better computer  Well, It's not such a big deal. I was mostly interested in it for the sheer joy of exploiting the possibilities of a modded ps3 (which are plentiful).

@The Real Jdbye, I thought about that and I have blank DVD's and Blurays but honestly after like 90 songs I just listen to it a couple of hundred times toss it out and burn something else or have like 2-3 CD's. Florida here the heat in the car tends to ruin the CD's after like a few months even commercial pressed ones don't last too long.
