Would you like the idea of the Super Mario Maker comming to the Nintendo (New) 3DS?
Well, I would love it. Create levels while you are travaling or at breaks in your jobs, it would just be great!(Thats my oppinion)

But I dont see that happening.
Tezuka also talked about potentially bringing the game to 3DS in the future. He explained although the focus is on the Wii U right now, he'd think about working on a handheld version depending on the game's success. "I don't know if a 3DS version would work the same exact way, but maybe if Mario Maker does well on Wii U and people really love it, I might consider doing something for 3DS."

Would love to see it. At the very least, they should make a player for people's custom levels, but a full editor would be appreciated.

Well, that was last year, and honestly, after seeing some of the crazy things being pulled off with it this year (like at the NWC event), I have my doubt the 3DS could handle such things without it affecting performance.

But if performance isn't an issue, then sure.

Would love to bring Mario Maker on the go with me. Even if they had to make it exclusive for the New Nintendo 3DS only, I'm sure it would be a hit.

Yeah, maybe they could make a separate limited version?

Knowing Nintendo, a 3DS version would probably just be a watered down port of the Wii U game, and I don't think the game would be suited to a handheld console well.

What would be awesome is sending custom levels to the 3DS so you can play them on the go.

Eventhough the New 3DS XL is more powerful, I still feel like the DS Lite was a more polished system. It's a real shame that it never got an XL variant keeping the GBA slot. You'd have to go on AliExpress and buy an ML shell to give a DS phat the unofficial "DS Lite" treatment, and that's the best we'll ever get I'm afraid.

The phat model had amazingly loud speakers tho.

@Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.

They probably said "Hey, why not we combine the two together and make a 'new' DS to sell".
  • Veho @ Veho:
It's a DS Lite in a slightly bigger DS Lite shell.

    It's not a Nintendo / iQue official product, it's a 3rd party custom.

Nothing special about it other than it's more comfortable than the Lite
