I have a PS5 that sometimes has a ~3 sec BLOD; other times, it goes white with no display.

I pulled codes with UART and got an 80830018, which seems to indicate a general power failure. It has also given me an 808D0000 which implies the same thing.

When it does go white, it does not respond to the power button, and I have to unplug it to turn it off.

I swapped out the Power Supply with a known good, and it is still the same.

I have checked all standby voltages (that I know of); they check out OK, and power-on voltages seem to be good (~1 V for APU core, .9V for RAM, etc.).

I am getting 3.3V on BIOS and when I apply 12V through bench power supply, current jumps to ~300mA and then back to around 9mA.

Viewing the board under a thermal camera shows RAM ICs getting hot.

It is almost as if the APU stops responding as the system boots and locks up. When the light does go white, it does so very quickly, but it doesn't seem like the APU always gets hot, or it takes a very long time for it to warm up.

I don't know where to go from here, so I was hoping someone could help.
