As of Jan 2nd 2024 Sleirsgoevy has ported K-Stuff offsets for 3.xx firmwares.

As of Jan 4th 2024 LM had added 3.XX Kstuff to Itemzflow meaning 3.XX-4.51 is now supported for PS4/PS5 backups and dumping.

1: Never enable IDU mode.
If you do you will need to enter staff mode by holding L1 + L2 and tapping this combo: circle, cross, square, triangle, right D-Pad. Release L1 + L2 and you can access settings to exit IDU.

2: Try to stay on the lowest FW possible and wait it out for hacks.

If you are on 1.XX-2.XX do not update at all, it may take years but HV exploit exists in private for this firmware range.
If you are on 3.XX-4.02: the advice is to update to 4.03, but don’t be tempted to update to 4.51 yet.

3: PS5 FPKGs won’t work as HEN and HV/kernel patches do not publicly exist for PS5 content yet.

4: Installing legit game PKGs you do not own will not work, even if spoofed.

5: If you get stuck in a boot loop at the PS logo, this means the SNVS is corrupted (if hash check fails on boot this causes a “soft brick”).

It’s not “bricked”, just reinstall your current firmware RECOVERY PUP in safe mode!

there is no known public downgrade(rollback) yet. If you or a friend wants a lower FW, the best thing you can do at this moment is to get another unit with a lower FW.

You can also learn new knowledge and create your own downgrade or contact sony to provide an official downgrade update.

nope it was definetly ps4 i ve done it twice from 4.71 back to 4.05 when the first jb was released and then from 5.56 back to 5.05
without nand only recovery.pup

but as far as i know this will not work with ps5

ive definetly done it without a teensy or something like that since back then it wasnt realy known iirc the hardware method was public after version 6.72 release and ive done those rolebacks before

so what did i ? i just put the recovery.pup on usb not normal pup

then ive put a new hdd in and holded the powerbutton about 12 seconds till it beeps

and then after the recovery was done ive just put my account back via usb

both times it was done on the same old ps4 model
and i still got the ps4 on 5.05 waiting for a cfw

PS4 stores min FW after update, so if you updated to 5.50 beta from 5.05 it’s entirely possible you could restore back to 5.05, however that is not true for retail OFW.

The revert method relies on a back up being made on that prior firmware and a spare drive IIRC, if you want to fast swap.

But again it takes hardware to do this.

You must be mistaken, unless you have a dev kit or testkit.

My testkit can update or downgrade to anything it likes.

Maybe you have vivid dreams... you thought it happened but in reality it was just a dream.

I recommend contacting sony and asking for a special recovery pup...this pup would make any FW version to 1.00...Maybe they will do something special for you, just try to persuade sony.

Maybe you did it on a ps3? Maybe you had like cfw 4.8 for example and rolled back to ofw 3.55. Some years ago I had trouble with a ps3 and did that in order to discard the fw as the culprit (in the end it was freezing because of bad cooling, never fixed it)
