Apparently, on the GameStop website the NGP was 999.99 for a preorder.

sauce.

I am assuming it was just a placeholder value -- when I was at GameStop the price for the 3DS was at 999 too, it is used as a placeholder until a final price is announced.

Why somebody made an article about it or why people tried to spread the rumor it is the price I don't know,

and why GameStop put it on their site (and not just as a SKU on the computer) I don't know either.

But whatever.

PS: Drank too much Mountain Dew Throwback can't fall asleep. Fuck me.

I expect the price to be less than 300 bucks,if the PS3 price is 300 bucks then why get a handheld when you can have the real thing!

I read somewhere that, whilst Sony can't reveal the price (they've not decided it yet), it will be less than $600 (price of the PS3 originally). Since it's an official source from Sony, we can take it as true (even if he was joking about it).

My guess... price will be somewhere between $250-350.

There is no way the PSP2 will be less than $300. Just look at the specs!
5" OED screen, quad core processor etc.
Minimum $349 I reckon but probably $399!

I know the spec, but if its more than 300 bucks, then why not get a PS3 instead of it
Sony aint stupid you know

Uhm, no? With a PS3 you're limited to playing in front of your tv and with the NGP/PSP2 you're not. So if you want the same graphical power on the go you have to pay a couple of bucks more...

I think the NGP is going to cost around $400-$550, and that's a realistic guess

I don't know, why would someone do such a thing, post fake information on a site for no reason whatsoever, just like you did if you don't understand my hints.

Anyone who seriously thinks it's $999 is fucking retarded.

I've seen the Gamestop page and in BIG BLACK LETTERS it says something along the lines of "FINAL PRICING NOT DETERMINED" or basically "HEY THIS IS JUST A FILLER PRICE". 3DS was the same way when it was first announced.

    @SylverReZ, cuz of lag?

@Xdqwerty, No. Whenever you use the internet on Windows, Microsoft collects personal data and installs bloatware that isn't necessarily needed, such as Edge.

Yes, you can debloat the operating system, but in some cases for me it just reinstalls them.

@Xdqwerty yes, when you are installing Windows on the first steps you are asked for your current location, you MUST to select «international» so no bloatware is installed, because the bloatware is location based. if this night I have some time I will setup a VM and take screenshots.
