I know it's a controversial opinion but outside the characters, story and world-design I was really disappointed in this game. The controls were dreadfully clunky and unresponsive and the lack of freedom in missions really held the game back for me.

This video goes over most of the problems I had with the game.

They are probably going to enhance controls for Xbox controllers and keyboard/mouse so it's probably going to be better.

now i just need to wait for CPY or CODEX release :D
Probably a month before Steam release:grog:
Depends on whether it uses Denuvo or not, and also which version. Borderlands 3 remains uncracked after 22 days, Code Vein was cracked on day 4. But yeah if it does get cracked before the Steam release, no reason to wait since we can just transfer the save file (and probably the vast majority of game files). A one-month exclusivity deal is such a joke, hopefully Epic paid a ton for it anyway.

I'm not buying it, they always do this just so you can buy the same game twice. There's no reason for a game to take so long to released on PC other than to milk you for your money, especially when PCs and consoles now use the same hardware.
Similar, sure, but same? Definitely not until the base revision of consoles can at least produce a steady 60 FPS across all games. RDR2 will both look better and perform better on a mid-range gaming PC, let alone a high-end one.

Erm... Not that I'm going to buy it (1), but does it gets released in actal stores as well? Downloading 100+ gigabytes isn't my idea of a fun evening.

I'm also a bit surprised they release on epic store and stadia in the first place. What's the point of having your own store if you're going to sell your most precious games through other media as well?
(steam at least makes sense because of their user base)

(1): m not saying anything of quality here. This is my preference and limited game time. I've got to make choices

I don't think they will change much... what will always improve is definitely a bit the input lag since if you have a good PC you can go 60+FPS, but anyway if using manual shooting it will never be as fast as on the console with the controller since it's mostly an instant lock with the auto-aiming option maxed out which is usually how ppl play on both RDR and GTA on the console so the 30 FPS don't do any single damage on the console and actually make the character more cinematic in my opinion...

I can't deny that on some games the 60 FPS makes the game look a bit more artificial and the characters a bit more robotic to me while on PC on a FPS MP game it makes me pissed when it gets below 60 FPS and my aiming gets broken, jerked... But some SP games with a controller when properly done and with good motion blur, it gives a very cinematic effect and doesn't even feel like 30 FPS, while some games that look like nude 3D seems kinda lagged even if stable at 30 FPS...

GTA V is far worse with big drops in FPS on consoles...

ray tracing by now is the new PhysX it is useful only to drop fps
PhysX can actually make a big difference. Here is a decent example I think.

That being said, extra generated onscreen content may cause framerate drop if your GPU is not up to par.

But, ray-tracing, as far as I know, is just enhanced realism for light simulation. This may not be something players always want, because some areas in-game may end up looking darker with RTX on, as opposed to off. All in all, RTX is not worth the hype, and as a result, RTX cards are not worth the higher price point.

Nvidia PhysX are now open source or soon to be, can't even remember, thats the only good thing Nvidia did... Anyway about the Gay-tracing, its cool that Nvidia rushed it even though performance-per-price was never there, it pushed to a new race which means sooner we will have it at affordable prices than later if no one cared to introduce it to gaming...

I don't care a single F* about Ray-tracing, but I'm glad it happen which means some day we will all have it and Next Gen consoles also will finally introduce it to the masses and probably only because Nvidia rushed it on their RTX priced like gold with crap 4K and Ray-tracing performance while at the price of gold... At least they can have credits for making others also introduce it ...
