Another update released for tonight:
v1.11 - Added up/down scrolling using arrow keys and page up/down keys. Fixed several bugs.
After every update I would have to redownload the channel version right?
And it simply replaces the older version when I install the new one through WUP Installer?

For the channel version, I have not started creating update packages yet, so you would have to uninstall the old version and then install the new one, for it to install correctly. In the future, once it's a very stable version and has almost all features, and the updates will only come every few months or so, then I will start releasing updates so you don't have to keep deleting the old one.

Also take note that WUP Installer will allow you to install a new channel version on top of another, but this is known to cause issues sometimes (title not booting, etc.). So yeah, delete it first then re-install.

Yeah, it sometimes won't work if you do that, so it's always just best to delete it first. The app doesn't have any save file, YET, so it doesn't matter to delete it for now. ;)

Is there any other way but to access system settings and data management for this? I'm fine with that, just asking. :)

I had a really big update planned for this, but the plans had to be scrapped. I'll go ahead and release the final version of the app shortly. It will still open internet links like before, but now if the link is just a picture, it will download and show the picture within the app on the TV screen. No need to open the internet browser just to see a picture. I had a lot of plans for this, adding GX2, an on-screen keyboard, and some other things, but this is the best I will be able to do for now. Hopefully in the future, other tool chains besides WUT will become available. I'm sure there won't be unfortunately, and the method I was using to make this app will not allow me to use GX2 like I wanted, so yeah, this will be the final version once I release it. It will also be my last public app, I'll more than likely just go back to making things with the SDK, hassle free. But it's just the Wii U, right?

Sorry, see you guys later. The final update will be on the appstore later tonight or tomorrow.
What why? You've done so many awesome things and been looking forward to awesome stuff in this great app!

The GX2 version is almost to the point of being released, but I still need to add an OSK, and re-implement URL parsing in the GX2 version. Would anyone want the GX2 version released without those features, or can everyone wait a little bit longer until they are added?

I'm totally patient. Whenever you're ready with a finished product is fine by me! Whatever makes it better. :P

brenj, can you fix bootloop issue when quitting LameIRCU channel? It's pretty annoying tbh.

the legal drinking age here in the US is 21, as some of you may know, but i think either it should be 18 or the age you're an adult should be 21.
    +2
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
and i know what you may be thinking, "why become an adult at 21? doesn't that mean that banging an 18 year old would be illegal?"
first of all, being in a relationship with someone who's 18 is technically ok, as long as it started when they were 18, but the age gap is still weird depending on how old you are. besides, the age of consent differs between different states

  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
also my reasoning for adult age being 21 is because the reason that's the drinking (and now smoking) age is because it "gives them more time to think rationally and not drive drunk"
so you should have that extra time to mature and think rationally before going to serve in the military or vote
    +1
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
tl;dr the "adult" age and the legal drinking age (and voting age) here in the US should be the same
