Have had no issues converting any mods for 3DS, but unfortunately the one I wanted seems to crash the game after the opening video. Don't think I've been doing anything wrong so not sure

The 3DS can barely run the game as is. If something doesnt work either there isnt enough power to run the game + mods or you may need to resize some images

Sort of. You're dumbing it down a little too much.

This will just let you use the files from PC mods on the console versions of Isaac. Provided that they are the same resolution.

Any files from the DLC(afterbirth and afterbith+) or images that are not the same resolution will cause the game to crash.

This tool does not convert things to the proper resolution since Im too lazy to check everything manually tbh so that will require some manual work depending on the mod.

I've only encountered this issue with mods that heavily change the game's aesthetic (like flash reborn)

Have you ever wanted to use your favorite PC mods on your consoles or handheld devices? Well now you can with this nifty converter.

The way this converter works is by loading up your mod's GFX folder and converts all of the files to console friendly format. Once the mods are converted then it is just a matter of you uploading your new GFX and the rest of your mod files to your system with your exploit of choice.

You need HENkaku to use these on the PSvita and CFW on a Nintendo 3DS to build and use a new CIA.

Should work for wiiu already as it already works on the psvita

The wiiu, 3ds, and vita all use the same file formats.

Heck even the nintendo switch version uses the same file formats so in theory it should already work for that as well(also with afterbirth mod support out of the box)

Which tutorial are you referring too?

The one you linked that has you taking apart the game then rebuilding it I gave up tot worth the hassle of guessing if the mod I want to run would work (in this case the Pokemon issac one) when I can just get mods on my pc version o.O just liked the idea of portable..

i see, i dont exactly know how to mod my TBoI 3DS so is there some sort of video tutorial somewhere? i just wanna cheese the lost because no way in hell am i gonna play a version without the holy mantle

https://3ds.hacks.guide/ is the main guide anyone here will recommend. Video guides tend to be outdated, or they leave out info for whats needed.

Oh i have my New 3DS already hacked, was talking about how to port the mods to my 3ds, i dont quite understand the intructions well

im so confused on how all of this works, when i try to convert a mod to be console compatible, it says it extracts 0 files and instantly ends it process, when i try to extract a CIA file with the HackingToolkit9DS it also does nothing and whats weird is that i put dumb names like (poopoo) and it says its extracting the unexisting file and instantly ends

i dont know what im doing wrong i really need help
