They should be 512KB.i find it weird gen 4 save files are bigger then gen 6 when gen 6 has more box slots and more pokemon and data to store

It seems it can read and save the "save file" correctly, although it is awfully small
there was a 3DS system update a long time ago that checked if a game had save data to try and block flash carts. let me see if I can find it...This probably works in order to act like a real cartridge in order to bypass anti-piracy checks done by the system.

out of curiosity, what does it contain exactly if you use a hex editor or something? don't know what the blue card doesMy gateway blue card also had a valid save area that TWLSaveTool was able to dump. Seemed to be mostly dummy data though as I would expect.
