Is there any way to play this without manually replacing each and every file? Maybe even like a program that batch replaces everything for you? It's kinda inconvenient right now.
It's not meant to support piracy.

how the hell do you say replacing files in wiiscrubber is piracy? get off your high horse idiot. replacing files in the ISO on PC is how custom games have been made for a couple years now. only in the last month or so has riivolution and sneek's DI come out to allow other methods. before that, how the fuck do you think people played custem games? they replaced files in the ISO on their PC.

Unless you're a pirate you're not replacing anything.

How do I play the game then? All I can find is a guide for using wiiscrubber and a bunch of seperate links to .arc files.

Also legal backups are entirely common because how much better USB loading is on the Wii.

well as of yet we dont have an official patch..so you would have to replace them individually or use riivolution...or sneek but i dont know how that works...there is also a way with partition builder i believe but im not sure

If you have your original you can use Riivolution.

I posted this originally over at the forums:

This is how I see it. There will be 3 official methods of obtaining the game.

- Iso patch. Basically automatically patches your iso with our changes (both EU and US)
- Riivolution patch. Includes everything except it won't change the ticket id meaning it will use the same save game as NSMBW.
- Manual iso patching. If the iso patch fails or they have a Japanese version or something we will compile a guide so that people can patch the game manually.

Someone will likely release a full pre-patched iso but we won't officially support that.

This way everyone can play our game and we don't step on any toes.

@diddy81 Have a look at this thread 3rd post down to fix the save problem http://originalsmbw.forumotion.com/smb-dis...roblem-t106.htm.

Wow man, i go to bed and a whole piracy/riivolution row breaks out lol.

When it is finished, all files will be released as Hamradio said. If you want to play it now, you need to either use wiiscrubber to replace the files or create your own riivolution xml.

I made a credits gameplay file... in other words the credits and gave it to Hamradio for bug fixes and to add some sexyness!

@diddy: You always put me in a good mood when you say cheers!

Eventhough the New 3DS XL is more powerful, I still feel like the DS Lite was a more polished system. It's a real shame that it never got an XL variant keeping the GBA slot. You'd have to go on AliExpress and buy an ML shell to give a DS phat the unofficial "DS Lite" treatment, and that's the best we'll ever get I'm afraid.

The phat model had amazingly loud speakers tho.

  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.

They probably said "Hey, why not we combine the two together and make a 'new' DS to sell".

It's a DS Lite in a slightly bigger DS Lite shell.

    It's not a Nintendo / iQue official product, it's a 3rd party custom.

Nothing special about it other than it's more comfortable than the Lite
