At least I'm not the one who has this issue.
you don't stay signed in, even with the checkbox checked? I stay logged in at all times, except for when I clear out the cache. I didn't even know about this 30 day limit. it might be for removing users who've only signed in once or don't sign in anymore. however, there are several users who maintain accounts, but haven't been heard of for years. I know you can change credentials depending on the user group, so it's possible it's only for normal users.

Also, I guess this thread is a good way to figure out who doesn't have 2FA turned on and is therefore more susceptible to having their account logged into by an unauthorised person.

Nope. Like I said above, it's a side-effect of 2FA usage.
I know.

I wanted to break the silence on this thread. I don't need any help relating to signing in, but I am suggesting for the 'Sign in for 30-days' option to be removed for 2FA, this is what my thread is about. I do now realise thanks to you all that this only occurs if you have 2FA configured onto your account, as I didn't know this beforehand.

It definitely needs to go.

I think it is a standard for password with 2fa involve, I work for a trading company, that used another company software, that we are require to have 2fa authentication when signing in a new device and every 30 days.

At least make the annoying 30-day thing optional. It's rather annoying to have to use my 2FA to sign back in to 4 web browsers each month.
Great idea. Make the 30-day thing be enabled by default, but make it possible to disable it in the privacy settings.

I only use 2fa on accounts I care about, like the ones I've had for a very long time, use constantly or have my bank information
