I'm trying to set up RetroArch Switch to run PSX games optimally. What settings should I change exactly? Is there a known exact setup I could perform? I've heard bios files need to be put somewhere for the thing to work properly?

Bios files go in retroarch\cores\system, look for the PSP bios as it's the most optimized for speed (the one listed as PSXONPSP660.bin in the link @bad361 posted above.)I'm trying to set up RetroArch Switch to run PSX games optimally. I'd be interested in some settings people use. While I have 60fps in games sometimes the scrolling looks slightly 'jerky' and not silky smooth. Honestly I always got rather poor performance with pcsx-rearmed on the switch, if your willing to try though, I get full speed psx on lakka switch with vulkan renderer and duckstation/swanstation. Its the same interface just running linux instead of hos to launch it.I'm trying to set up RetroArch Switch to run PSX games optimally. What settings should I change exactly? HOS RA handles psx easily. I've never had any problems. Some games require 1.2-1.5 oc tho. But generally, yes, lakka/android has better psx performance overall + possibility to enhance internal res.Honestly I always got rather poor performance with pcsx-rearmed on the switch, if your willing to try though, I get full speed psx on lakka switch with vulkan renderer and duckstation/swanstation. The old Core give's me only a Black Screen with Sound but no Video Output.
Do we have to use the Stand Alone Version of PPSSPP?
AMD FSR has now been ported to the Slang format as a pixel/vertex shader! You will now be able to use it in RetroArch with any core! Will be compatible with Direct3D10/11/12, OpenGL Core, Metal and Vulkan video drivers! https://t.co/tW2zICOd4r #RetroArch #AMDFSR #Slang pic.twitter.com/yqbOa1WRJQ
