It doesn't work at all with SX OS Emunand. My games path is Emutendo/contents/registered/ - and many-many folders 00000001, 00000002... there every title with random names (8es27cg7456s33brkvb2.nca) have 1-4 files. I've installed some mods for BOTW in /sxos and have no changes. Mods and main game have the same id (01007EF00011E000), but my games have something like encrypted type in the Emutendo/contents/registered/ What im doing wrong?

Thank you! It’s all because of SimpleModmanager, witch create in sxos “content” folder instead installation mod-folders in “titles” folder. I just manually moved mods to sxos/tiles, rebooted Switch and all works fine!)
It works all ok with sxos emunand don’t worry. I use your application under sxos hidden partition all the time and the mod works exactly as it should do. He’s either got the mods folders setup wrong “titles” not content or he’s not set & saved his path in the application to sxos and rebooted this is what the problem sounds like to me.Wait, is there a new folder for LayeredFS for the SX OS Emunand ? I don't have a licence for SXOS, so don't hesitate to tell me if there should be a new path to add. In the meanwhile the solution proposed by @TheCasualties should work just fine.

Edit: I’ve got two switchs on the latest firmware with sxos cfw ones used under systemnand cfw the other is used under emunand hidden partition and the simple mod manager works flawless on both.
Sorry I don't run SXOS but the mod folder location is the same for all the different versions of cfw.Kind of a newbie, but fairly tech-savvy. Running SXOS 3.0.4 on emunand with fw 10.1.
I'm a little confused about what is the correct file structure for getting SMM to find mods properly in SXOS. I've seen at least a few different variations ("contents" vs "titles", mod folder in SD root vs. inside sxos folder, etc.) -- all claim to work, including those who said they don't even run SXOS ("but it should work").
This is what I have currently, and it's not working:
root/sxos/mods/Zelda BOTW/Champ Tunic/titles/01007EF00011E000/romfs/(assorted mod files - Actor, Model, Pack, etc.)
I have SMM set up with Current Install Preset: sxos, and Stored Mods Location: /mods/. I have tried variations of mod folder locations, including root (as well as setting Current Install Preset: /root).
I have restarted the Switch each time I ever made any adjustments to the file structure and SMM settings. All of this, and still No game folders have been found in /mods/ in Game Browser of SMM.
Could a kind soul who is actually running SMM successfully on latest SXOS let me know where I'm going wrong and give me an exact rundown of the settings and file structure theyq are using in SXOS that is allowing them to be successful?
I use this application under sxos with the latest beta build regularly. It really is self explanatory to use> put your mods in the “mods” folder on the sd card then under a sub folder for your game super Mario Odyssey for example extract all your mods to that folder also on the route of your sd card extract simplemodmanager application make sure you already have a mod in your sxos/titles.. folder then on your switchs main menu use either the Tesla Menu or the main app choose sxos as your main preset setting and save that option then choose your mod, let it install reboot your switch then play the game it should load the mod then in future just disable/enable mods as normally, there’s nothing more to it, it’s quite straightforward and works very well. Make sure you read this thread comments etc.. & instructions thoroughly. Remember some mods only work on certain game updates so they won’t all necessarily work, it’s not the app at fault here you have to make sure that the mod you are choosing is compatible with that version of the game.Kind of a newbie, but fairly tech-savvy. The Stored Mods Location: /mods/ means it's looking for the mods folder directly in root of your SD. The rest of your path looks fine.. Should just be "./mods/Zelda.." The mods folder should not be inside any folder.

What does this mean? Because the two things I quoted above say mods go in root/mods/(game name)/..., and now you're also saying make sure to have mods in root/sxos/titles/ which is not the same as having mods in root/mods/(game)/(mod)/titles.
Can you explain this, and/or why mods need to be in both root/mods and root/sxos/titles?

Edit: make sure any mods you download check the folder structure in the zip file, if a folder is called "content" you need to change it to titles
Can you direct link me to the mod your trying to use I assume it’s off gamebannana site I have Zelda installed so I can test it myself that would helpI appreciate the clarification. Annoyingly, the file structure in /mods is totally correct -- I've triple checked:

And, as you explained, I now have the same mod in root/sxos/ as a "primer" for SMM:
root/sxos/titles/01007EF00011E000/romfs/(assorted mod files - Actor, Model, Pack, etc.)
But SMM still reports No game folders have been found in /mods/ in Game Browser -_-
What I'm now wondering is if I'm running into some weird compatibility bug either with the mods I'm trying to use or between SMM and my sxos emunand version. @nadrino is there a log file or something I can send you?
