Hardware So my WII U just tried to update... (Jan 6 2018)

I launched my Wii U today and while deciding on what I was going to play I noticed that it was downloading something so I went to check it and notice that it was downloading a system update I immediately went to the internet settings and disabled it. I'm not entirely sure if there is an update or not I just know I'm on firmware 5.5.1 spoofed/hybrid patched to 5.5

I bought an already hacked Wii U which is running CBHC 1.6. How do I know what firmware it's on? I've deliberately not let it connect to the internet in case it updates, but are you saying I'm better off letting it update?

Yeah, Wii U is dead and Haxchi is permanent unless you delete it
