Should ProjectM Full Set and Wifi-Safe versions share same GameID or have different GameIDs?

That's what the Smash.iso is. Is it supposed to be named differently, or in a different folder? Does it matter that it's scrubbed?

the name of the files doesn't matter, wit just checks for an extractable file, you could call it Tom and Jerry's Wonderland, as long as it is a valid wii iso file, it will find and extract it
you need to place it in the same folder as your batch file
I think it doesn't matter, whether or not it is scrubbed as long as it isn't missing any files compared to the normal iso

Yes, as in the first screenshot, this is my folder:

http://puu.sh/cRS3O/2e7751e9a6.png

sry, saw the command lines, totally ignored the rest of the pic, yeah looks fine
is there enough space on your hdd to extract the smash iso?
something is going wrong at the step, where it extracts your iso... we need to find out what exactly
basically it could only be, that the file is at the wrong location, which it isn't, that there is not enough space to extract the files or that for some reason your iso doesn't get recognized as a valid iso and hence doesnt get extracted (maybe make another backup of your game, this time not scrubbed? :/)

Plenty of space - couple hundred GB.

I can make another backup, it's just a bit of a pain. The same ISO loads fine in Dolphin for normal Smash, and can even load M 3.5 via the Gecko OS route etc etc. I'm just trying to build the complete ISO for my TV PC.

when you execute the bat file, before it starts copying the PM files, it has to obviously extract the files from the iso, this process looks like this

and it takes several minutes, please check, does it do this step or does it skip it, if possible, make a screenshot of what it says, when it skips it

It skips it - goes straight to trying to copy files. It goes by too quickly to read, and your batch file does not output a log. :(

open up the file and search for
Code:
wit\wit extract -s ../ -1 -n RSBE01 . ssbb.d --psel=DATA -ovv
that is the extract command
just write "pause" under it, this will pause the script until you press another key right after the extraction process, so you should be able to read the error report
Code:
wit\wit extract -s ../ -1 -n RSBE01 . ssbb.d --psel=DATA -ovv
pause

invalid wii partition
0 files extracted
yup, there you got your answer, your iso is considered invalid, I would try another backup, probably not scrubbed, wit will scrub your PM 3.5 iso, when it creates it
won't be as small as your iso, but still smaller than a completely unscrubbed smash iso

Currently using a non-scrubbed version and it's extracting. Thanks for the help! :)

GorTesK Could you please change the Project M WiFi ID from RSBEPW to RSBEWM?

When you download the covers, the ones from RSBEWM look better.

Compare:

The ID you're using:

http://www.gametdb.com/Wii/RSBEPW

The ID I suggest changing it to:

http://www.gametdb.com/Wii/RSBEWM

sure no problem ... wasn't sure, which one was the correct one, as both exist :/
so you are saying WM is the correct one or just a personal preferance?

(attached file has now PW changed to WM)

edit: also, I would like to know... should I start adding different ProjectM mods to the file again? (3.02 mods...) or wait for these mods to get 3.5 releases and then add them?

gortesk wasn't there an issue that popped up about a year ago when building modded games when an .iso is used wit didn't detect it properly therefore using .wbfs or wbfs/wbf1 was the preferred method, I had never tried with an iso just used wbfs/wbf1 to compile the mods

I always build my mods with and into isos and never had an issue with that, just need a valid backup file
Wahrheit for example only had issues because of his scrubbed file (seriously, if you use a disc image, that has been scrubbed to 4-5gb of size, you have to expect, that there will be some data lost on the way and that this might lead to errors/issues)

yeah I agree with you on the fact of scrubbing iso's I never saw the point in .ciso or a truncated iso why not just use wbfs files. it is the same thing

scrubbing is fine, if it is done correctly... if it only removes empty space, that is created by doing a 1:1 backup of a disc, that is much bigger than the files it contains
but using this batch file WIT actually does scrub your iso/wbfs while creating it, so using an already (potentially wrongly) scrubbed file, is not necessary to begin with
if people actually want to save even more space... there is literally 381 MB of extra dummy data (files\dummy1.dat , files\dummy2.dat) on the disc, which I could also delete via the batch file to save even more space ... but with the abundance of HDD space nowadays I wonder, is it really necessary to scrub and criple discs? this method is a relic of the past, when HDD space was scarse, now it is not necessary anymore (my opinion ...)

need some kind of error report - make a screenshot :-) (and if you want a quick response, make it fast, it is nearly 4 AM here right now, damn time to go to bed XD )

what I think ... when it won't build you an iso, then because it doesn't have the files to do so
if it doesn't have the files, then it didn't extract them
so something is wrong with your original smash iso (wrong location, no space on hdd to extract or scrubbed iso)

Although diet is largely education, people don't need to go to university to learn what's healthy and what's not,
it's the whole country, big corporations and advertising that is to blame for leading most of the population to believe that poptarts and froot loops are healthy to feed a child

As someone who went through the grade school system in the US some time within the past 30 or so years, not nearly enough is done to promote and educate on how to eat healthy in a way that is feasible to do on a regular basis and also affordable. Eating healthy is, comparatively, fucking expensive. So is eating unhealthy, but in many cases eating unhealthy is more affordable than eating healthy

@Sicklyboy I agree, but also it's about self control and realistic thinking. We wouldn't feed a dog soda, so why feed it to ourselves? Eating unhealthy food because it's cheap is one thing, but I'm sure you know people who drink soda routinely when they should be drinking water which is free.
I get it can feel mean to say "no treat sweet beverage for you anymore" but for many people it's just in their way of life.
