So I have some terrific news for you guys.

Found this.

GameStop/EB, GameCrazy, and any other game retailer with a Wii floor unit should be getting in Super Mario Galaxy to demo. That means you can head to your local retailer and get yourself some hands-on time. This is the full version of the game too. The only problem is that the system timer should be running in full force. Get in your 10 minute session while you can!

I'm assuming the timer is unit related for Wii demo units, and it's not something thats software. If it is, it could still might be removed?

So this basically means, we could be seeing it early.

I'm assuming the timer is a big fat security guard with a stopwatch. He could still be removed, if you pour enough laxative in his coffee.

I hope it gets dumped. Although I haven't got a modchip myself...

Btw, even if it's the version with the timer that gets dumped, shouldn't you guys be very happy? You could play the game earlier, as much as you like!

Not sure I believe him to be honest. I don’t question the disk itself, just that he’s gone from 10:54 PM 1:01 AM ( 127 minutes ) from having no clue how to dump and burn or a way of doing it, to: ” I can't play the burned copy because it "detects unrecognized hardware" or some crap.

Is it possible the buy an LG drive at midnight, install it, then dump and burn in 2hr 7min?

Eventhough the New 3DS XL is more powerful, I still feel like the DS Lite was a more polished system. It's a real shame that it never got an XL variant keeping the GBA slot. You'd have to go on AliExpress and buy an ML shell to give a DS phat the unofficial "DS Lite" treatment, and that's the best we'll ever get I'm afraid.

The phat model had amazingly loud speakers tho.

@Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.

They probably said "Hey, why not we combine the two together and make a 'new' DS to sell".
  • Veho @ Veho:
It's a DS Lite in a slightly bigger DS Lite shell.

    It's not a Nintendo / iQue official product, it's a 3rd party custom.

Nothing special about it other than it's more comfortable than the Lite
    for people with beefy hands.
