Smash Ultimate all over againWhat can you be disappointed with an already announced Super Mario Maker 2? They already added a lot of new mechanics to be considered it's own sequel, in my opinion.
its notDoesn't anybody think its weird its also being released on the Wii U?
To be fair, MK8 Deluxe was MK8 + DLC for the same price as MK8, so better value in a way. But also no one was forcing anyone to buy it.just look at MK8, it's literally same game at full prize, but many people just bought it again even without thinking TWICE
then that squid shooter 2....
The game is going to be right at home on the Switch, and there's no way they could have added Switch compatibility as DLC.I have to agree that it could be disappointing.
Seems like anything new in Super Mario Maker 2 could've Just as easily been DLC for the first game.
I'd prefer Super Switcheroo.Think this should be released with the upgraded switch which wil be called the super switch - oh shit did I just leak the consoles name
I'm sure someone though could add the big boo haunted house musicnow if you could make Mario64 levels?
watch an always on connection be required like MK 11 their putting stopping piracy first then pleasing fans (again)
I hope it has co-op and the ability to download user created levels and play them offline.
Doubtful. They'd be shooting themselves in the foot if they had DRM as bad as that game.

I hope they archive every level made with the Wii U Mario Maker, or give Wii U players the ability to make it compatible for the Switch. Because we can't not archive gems like this:
MK8 + DLC for the same price as MK8, so better value in a way. But also no one was forcing anyone to buy it.
Co-op is probably a feature here (given the promotional material used featuring both mario and luigi) but offline play will most likely NOT happen.

Actually its very likely as the original SMM did have offline play for level making and etc. Its not really SMM if there's no offline play.
No. I remember paying for expansion packs back in the day and then, with the advent of digital distribution, along came DLC and I remember being asked to pay for the likes of Halo 2 maps and Oblivion horse armour. Monetisation is pretty much the core concept of DLC.Remember when DLC used to be free?
and mario maker 3ds had an offline mode so... ya, there not apposed to it.Except the first game is not on the switch. which is probably the WHOLE point of SMM2.....

Well the levels are all downloaded online so yea it needs an online connection. True fans of Nintendo don't pirate their games anyway so no issue there.
