You can't! You can ask them to see if they can check it for you but I doubt. The best way is Ebay sellers and ask them for the serial number and match it right here so you will know.

Could be anything, really. If you are lucky you get some old stock with <3.0.0, but >3.0.0 is more likely.

Serial numbers are a continuous number. For example: XAW00001 is the first Switch ever produced and comes with FW 1.0.0.
Now a new FW is released: 2.0.0.
Someone buys a Switch with the new FW an reports that serial number XAW00021 comes with 2.0.0.
That means that we know with a certain accuracy that all Switches with a higher serial number
then XAW00021 comes with at least 2.0.0.

no one can tell the exact firmware, you should open it to check by yourself.
I see the XAJ400XXX value is increased with the firmware.

3.0 -> XAJ400169
2.3 -> XAJ400154
2.2 -> XAJ400107

So XAJ400251... should be > 3.0

Finding 3.0 Switch is a pain now, it was a risky 3 month ago, but now you have to be very lucky.

We don't know more than the list. If list says yes, then yes. You can use Pokken DX to upgrade to 3.0.0.
