what do you mean? you know that people sometimes forget to do stuff right and sometimes guides gets taken down. You don't need a guide as long you know what to do, good idea to read rentry if you needs some knowledge.

Rentry guide won't get taken downI want to be able to download rentry guides and other guides. is there like a offline version of it just in case it gets taken down.
They won't go after guides, the only way it probably get taken down is that the host doesn't want to host it anymore. Switch CFW setup isn't that hard.
still, is there a way to back up the guide? just for peace of mindRentry guide won't get taken down

After i modded my switch i downloaded a game (CFW) that i had a save file on my OFW, after some time i realised that i continued the game from where i left it on my OFW. Does both CFW/OFW share the same save files? If so, will i get banned??
Wouldnt that lead to a ban though regardless of installing nsps? There are multiple reasons. One example is restoring save data since some people will play games on emuMMC but wish to transfer their progress to sysMMC such as leaked games. Another example is the ability to update sysMMC without burning fuses which is very, very difficult without CFW. You can also live life dangerously by bringing mods online. And these are just some of the reasons why someone would boot CFW on sysMMC. There are many things that can only be accomplished by launching CFW on sysMMC.
I don't get it, I thought the whole reason was to keep it seperate.Wouldnt that lead to a ban though regardless of installing nsps?
You just place them onto the SD card and let them merge with the pre-existing files/folders. If you already setup CFW, you'll see what folders the patches go into since those folders should already exist on your card.I've been banging my head for about three hours reading here, youtube, etc.
So I'm hoping someone can help me out.
I purcahsed a V1 switch recently. I have things going, Atmosphere runs, homebrew menu, etc.
I'm trying to install games, I'm getting errors, I'm stumbled into download tinfoil, where now the installs are telling me I likely need to update sigpatches.
I go to that page, I download the zip folder, and then..... I don't know what to do with the sigpatches. Where to place the files, or whatever comes next.
Hoping it's an easy solve, thanks!
That just sounds like you finally got banned which you make sense since you connected a hacked Switch online. Is there a way to transfer a save from an v1 emunand on atmosphere to a retail oled switch? I used to do it with sxos by rebooting, turning off the safety feature and uploading the save to the cloud. that doesnt seem to be a thing anymore. when i try and disable the safety feature on emunand it just errors out trying to connect to nso.
Not necessarily. Remember that bans are distributed randomly so you're never guaranteed to be banned. Thus some people are aware of the risk and choose to accept them anyways. Other people don't care as they either don't use the online services or feel they are not worth using in the first place. Also bans aren't always a bad thing. In a world where finding a hackable console isn't guaranteed, being banned implies the console is hackable in the first place as getting banned without hacking is extremely difficult.Wouldnt that lead to a ban though regardless of installing nsps?
If only one game is not loading, then the game itself is the problem. Try downloading it from another source. What do I need to do... ONLY ZELDA TEARS OF THE KINGDOM WILL NOT LOAD... FIXED EERYTHING ELSE.
How can it be sig patches? I just updated them 5 mins ago
If by OFW, you mean sysMMC, then normally it wouldn't appear. The only way it would appear in that scenario is if your sysMMC and emuMMC share the same Nintendo folder. I also don't see how you would get banned just for installing games for online play to the SD card. All bans are due to going online after using CFW/homebrew. As long as you never go online after usage of CFW or homebrew, you won't get banned.hello guys!
is there any problem if i install in the sd fortnite from the shop in OFW? will also appear on emunand? could be a problem to avoid bans installing games for online playing o the sd? i have done the SD assigining 29Gb to emmunand (Red Bar).
For your second question:Hi, I have 2 questions to ask if it doesn't bother anyone.
The first one :
If I run my switch in CFW SYSNAND and I don't install any hombrew or hacker game, is my SYSNAND still considered "clean"? By this I mean that I can always connect my switch to the internet and play online.
And my second question is how to start from hekate a clean Nand without hack?
If that doesn't help my switch has a HWFLY chip. Thanks in advance ^^.
It does not work, is there another manipulation to do before that? Oh and if it can help you, I land on the Boot.dat? screen. For your second question:
Turn off Switch, remove SDcard, press and hold both Vol+ and Vol-, while holding V+ and V- press the power button once (but dont let go of V+ and V-).
When Nint logo shows on the screen let go of the V buttons.
Now you are in OFW
Which version of the chip do you have?It does not work, is there another manipulation to do before that? Oh and if it can help you, I land on the Boot.dat? screen.
