With absolutely no experience, I don't know if it would be wise for you to attempt it. I have some experience installing a modchip in the OG XBOX, and also a few PlayStation consoles several years ago, but I wouldn't try installing a modchip in a Switch. The motherboard is much tinier than those old consoles. Let's put it this way, if you can afford to buy another Switch, in case you mess up the installation, have at it. Hope for the best, but expect the worst. You should really practice a little first, though. Buy a cheap electronic in a local store, crack it open, and try removing components, then re-installing them, and see if the thing still works.
