You are missing the Hinge.
I saw ppl sticking a tape under the Flat cable. It works
I would just replace it

ok, I will take your advice and see how it goes
Sadly it's impossible to troubleshoot any thing more. But that cable is what shows things on the screen. Without it, black screen.

Heck I don't know, maybe it's possible just to change the white hinge? The repair store probably knows more :)

Yeah, hope I can get this fixed I don't want $150 to just be gone that quickly

This was my first time doing any sort of technology repair. What an experience this has been
Sadly the Switch is... well... the least repairable Nintendo console to date imho. It's very brittle.

Chuck a NES to the wall. Just remove the broken plastic and just blow in the cartridge and start playing again.

Can defientely agree on that even when replacing the fan I was worried because of how much force that is needed on some parts to get them loose and they are so tiny as well.

@Xdqwerty there is health behaviour you can add to your character, then to use a health bar is lil more complicated, google n watch a few tutorial video on it, be too hard to explain here.
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@BigOnYa, the character has the health behavior
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
I know you have to create a health and health max variable. Then there is a calculation you use in code to subtract width size of the health bar. Google few vids.
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@BigOnYa, the "greenflatbar" is one of the preset health bars btw
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Yea you can use any bar/sprite. It will just change the width. Ok good luck and have fun. I'm off to go shoot some pool at the bar. Talk to you later.

  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@BigOnYa, why does the health behavior exist if you can just use a variable?
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
and nope the number still doesnt change
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
ok im gonna make my own asset
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
