Simple. Just put the Switch itself in "Handhelds" and the dock in "Consoles".

it's an evolution of the gamecube design concept ( a console that you can carry around ), and its library has games meant for consoles like skyrim and whatever else they ported..
so, it's a console.
games designed for portables are by default shorter ( anyone else remember when the ninja gaiden guy wanted the ds game to be deep and 50+ hours long and they told him no because portable? ) and more SD ( chibi ) styled since the main audience for portables is kids

the first time i read this comic the joke just went over my head because from the beginning nintendo called it a console

I use the Switch on portable mode only so for me is portable.

Put it on the handhelds because when the joy cons are attached, it looks like a handheld.
