I wish every member a healthy 2014.

Personal goal:
More quality time with my wife and kids.
After about 2 years of rehabilitation ( chronic illness )
It's about time to get things in order and cope with things how they are.

Love to all you guys for the great discussions etc!

Give my very best for the next semester starting February and for the 2nd year of Medical School starting September 2014, which is the hardest year here!

Happy New Year 2014 everyone!!!:toot:

I have two goals for the new year, one is a classic old one. Lose some weight! I've gained a lot through "depression" (sadness and stress) and a disease. And the other goal, heavily linked to the other one, is to finally graduate from Uni...

I have two goal, one minor one, to get round to finishing my second OUYA compatible game, a nice little platformer. The other, to finally save enough money to put down a deposit on a house and move out of this pokey little rented shoe box.
One is more likely than the other :(

Only 3 goals for the year, begin my apprenticeship (painting and interior decoration) and keep at it, save money (instead of blowing my paycheck on payday!) and to majorly cut down on cigarettes (hopefully quit!) Also, Heyah Temp ♥ Been a little while since I've posted, but I do lurk ;) DinohScene

To be a better person and follow my dreams.
That means more technological knowledge while balancing it with real life.

My goal for 2014 is to repair my relationship with my mother.

It's been a really tough year. I hope things can get better ^^

    @Xdqwerty, Yeah, I'd recommend having another OS just in-case you want to play games.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
    At least Linux doesn't contain spyware than what Windows has.
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
    @SylverReZ, cuz of lag?
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
    @Xdqwerty, No. Whenever you use the internet on Windows, Microsoft collects personal data and installs bloatware that isn't necessarily needed, such as Edge.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:

    @SylverReZ,
    I recall @impeeza mentioned some trick about not having bloatware when installing windows where you set up your country to "world" or smh like that

  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
    Yes, you can debloat the operating system, but in some cases for me it just reinstalls them.

    @SylverReZ,
    I also recall my brother downloded a "non bloated" version of windows 11 on his pc

  • impeeza @ impeeza:
    @Xdqwerty yes, when you are installing Windows on the first steps you are asked for your current location, you MUST to select «international» so no bloatware is installed, because the bloatware is location based. if this night I have some time I will setup a VM and take screenshots.

    I think my favorite one was that dancing purple gorilla... I uninstalled that thing from sooo many machine people would be like "Why is my computer so slow?" lol because this thing is using like 30% of your system resources.....
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
    This one lady... her son kept installing Kazaa... OK no problem the issue is he would download DBZ movies and they where amazing usually like 2-8KB in size lol can't remember how many times I had to format and reinstall windows over his stupidity. I even explained to him about file sizes multiple times...
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
    yeah Bonzi buddy was malware sort of... It was borderline lol
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
