Ever since Black and White came out, so many people at my school have started asking me for help either
A) Buying them an ak2i (My recommendation after they all ask me for "one of those r4 things"
B) Putting the games on their "r4 things".

Yesterday I spent 45 minutes on the phone talking someone through buying an acekard. As I write this I'm waiting for Imagine Teacher to finish downloading (someone gave me their nieces r4 ultra). Why can't people do these things for themselves? I'm not technologically gifted or anything I just read instructions and if an error happens type it in on google. Normally I wouldn't be too annoyed but we've steadily been getting more and more work leading up to exams. Also the paper that the person's neice wrote which games she wanted smells bad.

And to you, don't they look like "dicks" ?

Either refuse, or yeah, charge

I'm surprised so many people know about flashcards (or at least the "R4 thingies") where you live!

I use the term "know" loosely. They've heard of a mystical card that can have "anything on it". R4s are pretty big here though, it's kind of a shame that so many people get ripped off and buy them. Which reminds me, some people have started asking me to buy the ak2i for them, they give me the money and then I order it. What's that all about?

I charge like double the price for an R4I-SDHC why don't you do the same for your Acekards.

You have the same "problem"?

eh . . .
i hear about this all the time in my school ; R4 is the best thing to download games with .

then when they see me with my DS , they're like "hey what's that ?"
and i say , "it's an AceKard !"

they're just like what the hell is that ? R4 is better .

so in the end , i happily enjoy using my AceKard .

--

oh you should charge them if you're buying them an AceKard .
but for downloading games , that's a no-no since you'll be charging people for piracy .

They give me the money for an ak2i and I buy it, but I'm thinking I should charge them maybe 5 pounds extra to download it.

Seconded. It takes TIME to do these things.

Ok, any ideas on how much?

5-10 pounds. It beats buying the game retail, so I don't see why they would complain.

I used to make a small amount of money hacking PSPs and selling Flash Cards in high school. I would charge 15-20 for PSP hacking, 20 for whatever junk cart I had lying around, an extra 15-20 for a 1 GB Micro SD, and I would update PSPs for free. I would charge a few bucks for game updates though, since it takes a lot of time to download them, especially PSP games....

would charge 5-10 USD depending on how many they wanted, or if I knew them.

Just finished putting about 15 games on this girl's r4 ultra. Mostly imagine stuff. Turns out only half of them work. R4 has officially pissed me off.

All my friends know all my consoles are hacked and stuff, and pretty much every one has asked me for help at some point, but I just tell them to figure it out like I did.

It does surprise me how unwilling people are in actually reading up on these things. If you want to pirate games than at least put some effort into it. I got myself PSP recently and I was able hack it with ease due to doing research.
