Hello, and welcome to GBAtemp's <b>Index of Translations and Rom Hacks</b>.

Just what is the ITRH anyway? The ITRH (Index of Translations and Rom Hacks) is a thread where all of GBAtemp's translations and ROM hacks are recorded. This was an idea started by Rod and maintained by me. Rod originally created <a href="http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=91851" target="_blank"><b>THIS</b></a> thread and kept it updated, but because of personal issues, he could no longer keep updating it regularly...which is where I come in! I have made a new thread, and will try to update often and keep all ROM hacks and translations listed here to save you time and make things a little easier to find and a little more organized.

If you have any suggestions, concerns, questions, or simply want to help me out by contributing another translation or ROM hack, just let me know by PMing me or simply posting in this thread. Like I said before, I will try to keep this as updated as possible, but I'm just one person. Help would truly be appreciated!

Let's get started!

A new section has been created. "Abandoned". In this section I will place all projects that are concluded AND unreleased. From now on, translations in the "concluded" section will be translations that aren't being worked on anymore but have released at LEAST one patch. If the translation is not being worked on anymore AND there is no patch available, then it will go in the abandoned section.

Also, please note that all updates will be done on Fridays. If you notice that I haven't added your new patch or something, don't be surprised. I very rarely update on other days.

And for all the people not getting the tut, heres a more simplified version:
<b>1-</b> Download the latest DPS patch from here: <a href="http://deufeufeu.free.fr/wiki/index.php?title=JUS_Translation#Patch" target="_blank">http://deufeufeu.free.fr/wiki/index.php?ti...anslation#Patch</a>
<b>2-</b> Download DPSPATCHER (HERE: <a href="http://st.free.fr/phpmyvisites.php?url=http%3A//deufeufeu.free.fr/dps/dpspatcher.exe&id=29157&pagename=FILE:dpspatcher)" target="_blank">http://st.free.fr/phpmyvisites.php?url=htt...ILE:dpspatcher)</a> And patch a clean rom of JUS (You need to have 2 clean roms, after patching, one clean one patched).
<b>3-</b> Rename the clean rom to: old.nds and the patched one to: translated.nds.
<b>4-</b> Download my patcher from the main post (The first one) and run the .bat inside (Also, you need to have this .bat, ndstool.exe and both roms on the same folder).
<b>5-</b> There, it should work now. You have a new rom, and the other two got deleted. So, now, go and play.

What does it do?: It replaces all the English voices with Japanese voices. The characters will speak in Japanese, but the subtitles will remain in English.
Procedures:
1. Use the program <b>dslazy</b>.
2. Find the Japanese ROM and press unpack.
3. When unpacking is finished, rename the "NDS_UNPACK" directory to "japanese_NDS_UNPACK".
4. Delete the file "current.nds" from the dslazy folder.
5. Open up the English ROM, and click unpack.
6. After, navigated inside the japanese_NDS_UNPACK folder and into the "data" subdirectory.
7. Pick up the files above and copied them in the respective data directory inside NDS_UNPACK.
8. Afterwards, press pack and saved the new .nds file.

What does it do?: Replaces all the English voices with Japanese voices. It's your standard, run-of-the-mill undub patch.
Procedures:
<a href="http://rapidshare.com/files/181175998/Elebits_Undub_xdelta3.rar" target="_blank">XDelta3 Format</a>
Just unrar the archive and place the USA Rom inside the newly created folder. Then click on Patcher-Click_Me.bat (a batch file, contains plain text. Right-click on it and open it with notepad if you want to check its contents). It'll automatically rename the NDS file to elebits_orig.nds and start patching.

<a href="http://rapidshare.com/files/181171344/Elebits_Undub-PPF.7z" target="_blank">PPF Format</a>
Includes the PPF and PPFomatic V3. In case you don't trust the PPFoMatic EXE (no, I have no intentions to h4ck your porn tongue.gif) or already got your own version, you can safefly delete it.

What does it do?: This is a ROM hack of the game "Pokemon Diamond". It adds many new features to the game, such as being able to catch every single Pokemon, alternate starter Pokemon, stronger wild Pokemon and gym leaders, custom Elite 4, new sprites, etc. If you're a fan of Pokemon, you shouldn't miss this one!

2. Drag a clean, untrimmed ROM of "Pokemon Diamond" to the patch.

What does it do?: This hack will replace all the musical scenes in Rhapsody with high quality English versions of the songs.
Procedures:
1. Download and unzip <a href="http://www.megaupload.com/?d=IZK3R53E" target="_blank"><b>SND</b></a> (includes the songs!) (<a href="http://&quot;http://www.zshare.net/download/1958373909ad7675/" target="_blank"><b>Mirror</b></a>)
2. Download <a href="http://gbatemp.net/index.php?download=767" target="_blank"><b>DSLazy</b></a>
3. Have a clean copy of the game Rhapsody for the Nintendo DS. The file should end in <b>.nds</b>
4. Open the ROM with DSLazy
5. Unpack it
6. Replace the folder SND in the unpacked ROM with the one that I have distributed. (Link in Step 1)
7. Pack it back up
8. Enjoy!

What does it do?: If you follow this guide, you will be able to replace a character's model with another character's. Basically, that means that you can change your character to look like someone else. For example, you could have picked the character Forte, and if you follow this guide, you could change her to look like the character Adonis. More information and pictures in the thread.
Procedures:
Since the procedures are explained thoroughly with pictures and everything in CPhantom's thread, I didn't post them here. Just follow the link and go to the topic where they are located.

What does it do?: This hack replaces the English ROM's ending song with the one from the Japanese ROM. They are two completely different songs.
Procedures:
1. Download the latest patch <a href="http://www.4shared.com/file/64884220/12947f6/timehollow-music.html" target="_blank"><b>here</b></a>.
2. Download a ppf patcher. Unfortunately, I don't have a link to one, but if you simply go to google.com and search for "ppf patcher", I'm sure you'll find one. Any patcher should do as long as it patches ppf files.
3. Select the ppf file, then the ROM. Proceed to patch.

What does it do?: This hack will change the Japanese scenarios to English.
Procedures:
[Glitch 01]
There maybe several events that missaligned, the name of character speaking is wrong, the voice not right, and silences when there are text on the box.
So far only the flashback after Wyl get hit when saving ancel have this glitch. Maybe there's more.
It maybe crash too.

[Glitch 02]
System menu stil in japan, option, load menu.
Some battle texts are also missaligned.

Use at your own risk!
Only appliable to the (J) version, since the (U) version will not load the voices, maybe need an arm9 hack.

What does it do?: It allows you to incredibly easily and interactively replace any parts of the US English and the EU English versions of the ROM with the Original Japanese audio and music, creating a much more atmospheric and less cringeworthy game, without any manual work.
Procedures:
1. Extract the contents of the <a href="http://www.filefactory.com/file/746bcf/n/TWEWY_JapaneseReDub_CG_zip" target="_blank">patcher archive</a> (TWEWY_JapaneseReDub_CG.zip).
2. Take your original, unmodified EU/US and Japanese ROMs (no patches or trimming done to them) and place them in the folder called 'ROMS'.
3. Name the English ROM 'english.nds' and the Japanese ROM 'japanese.nds'.
4. Run PATCH.bat and make your choices regarding which audio components you want to patch, then let the automatic patcher do the rest.
5. Grab your patched ROM and remember to say thanks! :-)

Clam down you guys. I'm currently heavily editing the thread, so this is definitely not the final outcome. I'm gathering all info and such right this moment, so be patient. If you have anything you want me to add, please, post!

Testing the first ROM hack right now.

EDIT: Okay, so far so good. I've added about 4 or 5 hacks and translations so far, and I'm still going. It would help if the damn search feature was fixed...ah well. How does it look so far, guys?

Btw, if someone could make banners, userbars, whatever, please feel free. It feels kind of bland without any flashy graphics. If not, I can always do them myself.

EDIT2: Okay, I think I got almost everything... the only thing that needs to be fixed are some grammatical issues, adding any graphics to the thread, and fixing the box arts. I can't fix the box arts until GBAtemp puts the search function back though :\

If you need any... notes or whatever, feel free to contact me.

And btw, for the boxarts you can just get them here, on the Releases section: http://gbatemp.net/newgon/
Since they're all resized for the same res, makes it look a lot better.

Thank you, I'll add it shortly.

QUOTE(B-Blue @ Sep 30 2008, 02:50 PM) This is the same as Rod's post, I guess . . .

Nice job, BTW.
The whole reason for me to make this was to take over what Rod had began. He doesn't have enough time to continue this Index, so he let me take over. I guess I should probably add that in the first post...

Alright, I believe all that's left is to add Noitora's SRW patch.
EDIT: Added Doki Doki and Code Geass.

Okay, thank you very much Moo. I'll add it when I get to school.

Also, I'll remove the TotT, and I'll add a link to both the Xenosaga patch and the SRW patch.
