It hit usenet about an hour ago. Who else is looking forward to this? Gameplay is apparently average, but it still looks like a fun experience for us Simpsons fans.

Played 3 levels and got bored, but it's still a pretty good license. I'll definitely be going back to this in a couple of days.

You can't drive cars around springfield tho

Found it to be a decent platformer and the references where just great. Wonder if anyone noticed if the statues of Santa's Little Helper (which looked like the wolf from Ookami) was holding the keyblade thingy from Kingdom Hearts in his mouth xD

Or the "classic game" sequence. Gauntlet, Space Invaders, Missile Defender.

Simpsons Humor + Countless videogame references = Win.

It even has a Bender and Zoidberg cameo.

And the last boss is hilarious xD

Wii PAL version (IIRC) is up on usenet,
360 NTSC version is currently being uploaded on usenet as well.

Simpsons PAL and Bladestorm PAL are only for Europe and Australia.

Ok, played the new Simpsons game on DS and Wii, now i'd like to tell you that ROAD RAGE is still my favorite Simpsons Game.
(never liked HIT & RUN much)

I love the Simpsons, but I despised Hit & Run, I bought it on launch day and it was one of the worst purchasing choices I've ever made. It was really only worth a rent, and even then I doubt I'd ever play it again. However this new Simpsons Game looks like a lot of fun, I've been following it closely and all of the reviews paint the picture that it's a fun game with great humor, but that it's really only worth a rent too. Sadly I was hoping for a game worth buying, but the Simpsons has had bad luck with games, so I suppose this is better than it could have been. I look forward to renting it once I buy an Xbox 360.

The way I've heard it is that the PS2 and Wii versions are just like the Xbox 360 version, except for the fact that their cel-shaded graphics aren't quite as advanced. But there might be other subtle differences as well.

Easily the funniest part fo this game is when you send maggie into the raido station and she changes it from rap music to "good times and bad times thats what friends are foorr"

It's a good game, easy to pick up, nice graphics (there's some popping but I can stand them), funny. But my biggest grudge about the game is Springfield. THREE HUNDRED COLLECTABLES? Freaking hell, that's gonna hit me hard when going for 1000G...
